Absolute shame.

The senate president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is a certified thief. His wife helped him steal. EVERYONE knows this. Yet senators and house reps will show total solidarity and loyalty with the two. They do not care that the EFCC is probably doing the right thing, even if that is politically motivated. They do not care what Nigerians and their constituents will think of them because they know that, in the long run, Nigerians only bark and never bite. Seemingly, there is nothing we can do about it. They continue to rub salt into our wounds.

Buhari should have, as a matter of urgency and immediately after his swearing-in, thoroughly cleaned the EFCC, appointed a new boss and empowered him. That sense of impunity that is so brazenly pasted on the faces of these e-diotic senators and house reps certainly would not be there, even if they still had the courage to accompany Mrs Saraki to the EFCC offices.

I remembered vividly what happened some time ago when EFCC invited Tinubu to Abuja for questioning. All ACN Senators, House of Rep members, Governors, House of Assembly members, Chairmen LGA's came with him and there was no single space inside the court room.
