Hello guys, I see we are having a good day reading about Osun and Oyo state. Well, I havent lived in any of those places and its not my State of choice, so I don't have much to say abou that. smiley

My question is about the white background passport photograph to be used during registration, I guess its going to be scanned, if it is, can I use a simliar passport that I have? Soft copy, its in JPEG format.
Fraiser, you remember the kind we used for Graduands passport update in FUTA.

That's a lie. Its either those people don't go out, or they don't know places. I have been to over 5 clubs, even bars, hotels with swimming pools that are affordable, eateries. Yes, it lacks cinemas and big places like shop rite and the likes. But the little it has isn't doing bad.

There is no doubt that my attitude towards you my Love in recent times had significantly been nonchalant.

My love, I crave your indulgence to understand that my busy schedules of late is a function of what we have at stake as well as my pursuit for an appointment.

This I promise is gradually coming into fruition as I am at the verge of confirmation.

All I will solicit from you at this time is your undivided and undiluted support and cooperation as you stand to be my major source of daily inspiration.

Miss You Much Baby!
I miss you too baby

Dont worry I'll give you all the support you want kiss

I disagree with this. Yes Osun has villages, every state does. But the villages in Oyo state are not as good as some in Osun. The power supply and water is nothing to write home about. Even ifon Erin has better power supply.
Abbeyunique2:

i believe osun has villages too and not every1 would be posted to iwo, osogbo, ede, ife and ilesha. example of villages in osun are gbongan, ikirun, ile ogbo, ijebujesha, okuku, even dem ipetu ijesha, modakeke.
nb: i've been to almost everywhere in osun and i can say categorically that industry wise oyo is far better osun while ogun is better than oyo

I hear someone say osun holds nothing over oyo state. U must be joking. Electricity alone makes osun above any other state. I can bodly say have experienced at least 22 hours of power supply in osogbo. So please give some credit to osun state

No matter the kind electricity dem get for all does places ehn. You can't compare it to osun state. Do u even know y osun has d best electricity.. The base of electricity coming straight from kanji is in osogbo. U can't compare the power supply. Some areas might have poor power supply due to bad transormer or poor distribution

I love the "oyo and osun" debate. I schooled in Osun (OAU) and lived in Ibadan briefly. Here's my input, not much difference BTW dem, however, if u choose oyo and get Ibadan, it wld be a nice experience but if u don't get Ibadan, you go hear am. Osun Is cheaper n better electricity generally but not much post-nysc opportunities.
General advise: don't get ur hopes too high about a particular state or nysc itself, think of relevance to your plans (agriculture or professional exams or job hunting) in choosing a state. No state in Nigeria has Anytin perfect to offer. Work with your own plan.

i lived in Osun for good 8 years and surveyed the clime. so i know what am talking about. There's nothing developing there. Worker's are suffering. I met corpers who just couldn't wait to end their stay all because they made zero progress. My landlord had to reduce house rent just so some tenants could pay. Osun is more of a village than oyo. Oyo is ten times bigger than osun with better economic opportunities and more industry's to support. But then again every state has its villages and remote areas. But the best of ibadan is ten times better than the best of osogbo there's no argument there. I
