If you have been following the trend how this came about, you won't be surprised that the HQ is in Chad. At a meeting held by President Buhari and his counterparts from Chad, Niger, Cameroon and Benin, it was proposed that the head of the Multinational Task Force be rotated among the participatory nations but president Buhari insisted that the task force must be permanently lead by a Nigerian General since Nigeria is at the centre of the crisis. This was agreed and to all fairness, it was also agreed that the HQ of the task force should be in Chad. Nigeria can't take all.
