Where did I typed that EFCC is a law court. Is it only in the court you need to provide evidence?

Do you even know how the Justice system works?
EFCC works like the police.
So you can just sit at home and report a crime...no evidence to backup your allegations? What do you want the police to tender in court - your word?
Police requires your statement to commence investigations & she has given them one.
All police or EFCC needs is a tip off ( often times annonymous) to investigate or probe into a matter, whether from home, office or barracks & is it the job of the complainant to provide police or EFCC material evidence for prosecution, what are they being paid for?

The now unfolding scenario discloses the unethical flavour to the Petition by His Lordship. While it is certainly in bad taste for His Lordship, a sitting judge, to keep the appointment with the EFCC it is equally not in good taste for a complainant to fail to appear to substantiate a petition or seek to do so by proxy like it played out at The House of Assembly hearing. The Code of conduct for Judicial Officers is designed to insulate Judges from binds and quandaries of this sort. Prof. Sagay was, in my opinion, correct to say that the NJC silence, in all the circumstances, is ominous. It would appear that impunity, not having a place of standing any longer in The Executive Arm of Government has pitched its tent with The Judiciary who, unfortunately, is constitutionally saddled with the responsibility of checkmating the same malady presently afflicting The Legislature! The alternative, sadly, is Hobbes's society where life is "short and brutish" and "might is right"!

[quote author=Chiefpriest1 post=36549816]This woman don buy market o! Her outburst was uncalled for, especially given her position.

She should just have privately written a petition to the efcc detailing Aregbesola's sleaze

The pressure wey dey her head now eh! I wont be surprised if she ends up apologising, not necessarily because she doesn't have a case.[/quote

Her Counsel had given a hint of the likelihood of an apology emanating from His Lordship where the Petition is found to be baseless. To err indeed is human but to forgive divine.

The efcc have no power to invite her
The efcc have no body inside the country of western Nigeria. It can only have just observe status and report its finding to its office in Abuja. The same thing for the sss.

There is the FBI in other countries but are only on observer status.

So the efcc can't arrest people inside the country of western Nigeria. It can only observe and make their recommdation to Abuja inside 10 state of western nigeria

Only SIWN has such power to arrest. Not the efcc

That Judge seemed to have personal hatred for Aregbesola. To be fair to him, he was paying his workers as at when due and they enjoyed 13th month in addition. The fall in Oil revenue affected his ability to pay his workers and for that Judge to hold him to that bad ransome was not fair especially from a Judge who ought to know how to thread carefully.
if u don't Ave beta tinzz 2 say is beta 4 u 2 shut up....whr did u stay b4 sayin dis jargons, because if u re stayin any town in osun state ,u won't be sayin dis

There is a difference between the crime the police dictected and the one an individual reports.
The Police has not dictected any crime in Osun but the Judge has.
So she should tell EFCC why what she discovered qualifies for a crime. And she'll say these with documents and witnesses.

You don't just go to the police a week after you've been Rape to say, "somebody Rape me."
You must COME with evidence (physical or ddocument) of rape.

You are just naive or pretending to be so.
It is the job of the citizen to report a crime & that of law enforcement agents to investigate it & investigation requires gathering of evidence & witnesses.
Why should police ask us to report SUSPICIOUS acts if we are to provide proofs.
