Some teachers contracted by the ministry of education to prepare practical exams for grade 9 pupils in Petauke have been severely burnt by chemicals they were using . One teacher has since died. Elasto Banda, a teacher at Nsenya primary school in Petauke died after a day in hospital and was buried last Friday. One teacher is still battling for his life at St Francis Hospital in Katete District.
