My friend worked at Coscharis and he told me some Ford cars have to be reprogrammed after EVERY oil servicing.

Ford cars are expensive to maintain and require specialists to fix them.

If you say resetting the oil change interval is programming then there is a lot you don't know.

Stop spreading your uninformed hearsay .

I'm eyeing a 2014 used Ford fusion. Very Clean.

I know ford has stopped producing Sedans and this particular ford fusion is known to develop issues... I'm thinking "better safe than sorry" but if I were to bulge..

what should I look out for when examining the ford fusion.

any pros and cons

Please where is your workshop in Lagos I will like to bring my Ford Focus 01 hatchback there.

Its having issues with acceleration and sometimes all the warning lights in the dashboard comes on the car offs. Initially I was thinking its was the fuel pump and I got that changed issue persist, then I thought it was nozzle, we got that changed, issue still persisted.

I love the Ford brand but this issue is really annoying.

people are disappointed with their cars A/C working and diminishing always, then finally say, "there are no competent A/C men", unlike Ford vehicles, you don't go through these unpleasant issues of A/C.

You are throwing money at your mechanic instead of scanning the car first

I want to buy a 2014 Ford Fusion 2.5L. Please, what are the know issues of this car? Is it true that this car is expensive to maintain? What's the average servicing cost of this car?

I'd like to know all these so I don't buy the car and regret my decision.

Appreciate you as you threw this information to the house, I believe you misconstrue your friend, I was a former workshop manager of Coscharis.

No ford is reprogrammed after routine service, all that is done is called OIL LIFE RESSETIING TO 100% and this could be done at the facial panel /instruments cluster /display center of the vehicle as it may be .

I reset all my clients' ford oil life during every routine service and taught most of them that were interested how to reset oil life.
it requires no clumsy techniques and no charges.

Good as you corrected the misconception of resetting to reprogramming, but your mode of response in your second paragraph was awkward, am sorry to say.

Unlike we, they are not conversant of Automobile technological know how, they generally come here for enlightenment.

You and I didn't learn it in one day, we got to the apex of automobile with on-spot training, ordeal works/repairs and series of engineering events. Remember, we were once like them decades of years back.

So I appeal, encourage them to come here and say what ever, it's our duty to correct their misconception.

Utmost regards.

You have good eyes and taste, grab the 2014 fusion quickly, I can vouch for it provided you agree to do two things for me.

(1) If imported directly to you without intermediary, just get full history of the vehicle.

(2) If in Nigeria, satisfy the optimum performance of the transmission, just a caution, because Nigerians might have service the transmission with unspecified fluid by ford corporation.

As the above all you need is just basis routine service.

I commend your efforts in trying to put your car to good performance , what I noticed is that, trial and error is being performed on your car, particularly replacement of the nozzles.
Ford nozzles are extremely durable, I don't replace nozzles but only flush the sediments in the orifice.

It is hard for me to accept that someone will share a hearsay information that can be easily verified online whereas their source might not even have access to the web.

I will give an opinion that is mine for anyone who needs it but I will not give someone else's opinion that obviously not supported by any real fact.

Toyota is said to be reliable because it will only use technologies that have been tested and proven. Ford , BMW, and GM introduce new technology in there cars but Toyota only introduce existing ones.

I really want our people to be better informed by asking questions when in doubt and other give answers when there is no doubt.

Yes, I comprehend it from your perspective, but this particular person came for an enlightenment.

For instance, I'm a novice when it comes to politics because I wasn't interested from the on-set, so if anyone among my kit/kin came to me for political information, the first online I would visit before any other website is nairaland political section, no matter how watery and awkward my question would be because of my low intuition in politics, I believe that the gurus in such forum should attend to me properly.

Still I appeal, let anyone come with what ever interrogation, it our duty to correct their misconception.

We are Automobile icons, we shall definitely promote it.

Best regards.

You've said it, Nigerian used and old model at that 2005.

Satisfy that all major operation of the vehicle are functioning optimally.

There shouldn't be any confusion . Ford Edge. Ford Flex Lincoln MKX. These three are just one vehicle with little differences. Engine, transmission, PCM, wiring are same.
Edge/ Flex - body and suspension differences. Edge/ MKX - body difference.

Hello. One thing I did find while researching this is that Toyota bought their ABS control module so that you can buy a brand new one for considerably less than the dealer price. For the Camry, it is an easy DIY job with several good videos about the 2007 Toyota Camry ABS Module

I used the services of showplatesworld as a beginner. I purchased personalised show number plates for my husband and was unsure how to ensure they were legal. The advice was second to none and the product and speed with which it was delivered was equally amazing. I have no problem recommending them to anyone.
