Check the list in the link to confirm how much it would cost to rectify your issue. To be on the safer side, go with extra.

If you applied for Medicine, but was offered Agric. and you have Agric. on your JAMB admission letter, I don't think you have a problem... But to be on the safer side, please, visit your school's admission office for an accurate statement.

Hello
Please I need help with my jamb regularization. This thing is taking forever. Started the process by March and it takes lots of prayer and anointing oil before my indemnity form was uploaded by jamb state office. After this came the rescan issue which I saw last month. I travelled down to Kwara to resubmit to my school again. The question is on my indemnity form d last approved section for my school is not cleared unlike d one of the jamb state office.did I made a mistake by submitting to my school or will they change the date on d indemnity form.

Haddy, did you submit the colored version to your school or a photocopy?
Also check your JAMB portal for the status and let us know here.

To check your status:
SamuelLoch:

When you sign into your JAMB portal.
There's a navigation/menu button by the right, almost at the very top of your screen. Tap that button.
The screen doesn't look clear, so look for "My indemnity form" (I think it is the button before the sign out option),and tap too.
You should see something like "check status", tap on it to see the progress of your application.

I hope this helps

Hi everyone, please does regularization now have a closing date? I was a part time student for my ND programme, and I’m going back for my HND next year, is it a must to do the regularization now coz I don’t have a jamb reg no now or I can do it altogether after my HND just before I go for service?

I think it's best you do it before you finish your HND program.
Please, go through the details in the link below, it's really informative.

Your story sounds a little different because you made the switch in your 2nd year, but it still matches the condition of people who changed in the first year.

The purpose of JAMB regularization is to ensure that JAMB have your current admission detail that tally with admission/registration record in the school that offered you admission.

In your case, your present course of study does not match the course program on your admission letter. Hence, your case meets one of the reasons for JAMB Regularization - CHANGE OF ADMISSION LETTER.

Change of Admission Letter - Those with JAMB Reg Nos
These are Candidates who gain admission with jamb registration number, but the Admission letter carry a different course or institution name from the school that gave them admission

On the flip side, you said you're on the matriculation list. Some of my course mates, changed courses after year 1 (though within same Faculty) and never had to do Regularization, because my school rectified the issue.

My verdict:
Normally, you need to do JAMB regularization, but your school might rectify your change of course because you had your matriculation on campus doing the course that JAMB offered you.
Visit your school Admission Office to know if you're cleared.

Good evening, am a student of polytechnic doing my HND program, I went to jamb office today for my regularisation on get there I was ask to link my jamb with my NIN.
The issue is, my jamb date of birth is different from my NIN.
My concerns is, are they going to used my data in NIN to update my jamb or they we used the one in jamb for my regularisatio.
I did not do jamb when I was admitted, it's the institution that offer me admission.

Just link it and start your JAMB Regularization in time because it may take longer than you imagined.
You can always modify your JAMB details at a small fee

They are actually working on it... Some of my friends were at JAMB's Office on Friday on this same State uploading. The officials told them to go and keep checking.
Funnily enough, 2 out of my friends saw it on Saturday, and realized it was uploaded the day they travelled grin
They just wasted money traveling there. So chill a little!

Except if you did not submit a colored version of your print slip, because the black and white tends to fade out some information.

Hello, today I went to jamb office, I link my nin with my jamb but...... What I see is that the profile in my NIN was used to update my jamb for regularisation.
The date in my NiN was 1992 and my jamb regularisation is 1996.

I don't know what to do.... But last month nothing like NIN and now, the issue is NIN problem

About what is displaying... "Normalization of Improper Inter University" that's what her category falls into with JAMB. Nothing is wrong with that

After the approval of her JAMB Regularization, she is to
1. Print her new "Admission Letter" (I can see that you've done this)
2. Print her new "Result Slip" (You didn't say you've done this)

Both documents cost N1,000 each, and are necessary.

After these processes, she should visit JAMB's website to check the matriculation list.

You can do that here:
https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/CheckMatriculationList

If you paid and downloaded the two documents, and she's still not on the matriculation list, tell her to take the two documents to the Admission Office at her school.

You will be serving this year? Have you seen your name on the Senate Approved List from your school?
If yes, then you can try to register for NYSC.

Ordinarily, with what you mentioned here, you definitely need to do JAMB Regularization but. who knows? Your case might be different.

I'm guessing you dont have a JAMB registration/matriculation number, and an admission letter from JAMB...

Bro, seeing your name and the course you studied on campus on JAMB's Check Matriculation List is very important.
Some schools do Regularization for students that applied for change of course, from one department to another.

To be on the safer side ehn, go to the JAMB's Office in your State, and apply for JAMB Regularization, pending the time your school would release her Senate List.

If your name comes out, and you verify it on NYSC portal, you can go for Service, but if your name doesn't come out, you have started your JAMB Regularization process, and would save some time.

Please update us on this thread.
Thank you!
