agabusta: You want to make me belief GEJ would ask that Jadesinmi relocate to Bayelsa without Bayelsa being part of the original plan..does it work that way? NDeltans didn't wake up and suddenly become hostile. They have been cheated and neglected over a period of time and that breeded the hostility..They should be made to believe they are a part of the Nigerian project. Their fears and frustrations should be addressed. And this seemingly unjust relocation isnt the perfect way to go about it. |

Symphony007: Bro, I Feel your pains, But we are not here to discuss my level of education. We are here to discuss the pointlessness of the attitude of Niger Deltans to the reources in their zone, and why such belligerent attitude will only drive away investors more. See, Bro, Everything is strategic. The Wise Knows this, and adapts to the times. The Fool ignores this, and continues to ''fight'' for their rights. That is the Basic Difference between the Jews and the Arabs. Back in the Roman Empire, Jews formed the first terrorist/suicide/guerilla movements to Liberate Jerusalem and Israel from the clutches of the Romans....This approach ultimately resulted in the destruction of Jerusalem, and the evacuation of Jews from the homeland. That resulted into the the dispersion of Jews across the world, making them an homeless group of people until the 1940s. The other result is the widespread persecution of Jews in Europe and across the western world. When Jews saw this, and the effect of their pointless violence against the Roman State, They adapted. Jews entered the Business world big time, They went into the scientific world, they went into the world of Investment banking, money lending etc. This means they had access to the best education possible, and they ultimately controlled the economy of the western world then. Examples abound including the Rothschilds, The Mediccis, etc. who all have jewish roots. Ultimately what you ll discover in contemporary times is that Jews control the Economy of the world, via vast Capitalist interests and organizations, and they also dominate the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine. These are facts. THIS power gives them the ability to influence world politics on a global scale, and that ability led to the creation of the state of Israel. They essentially invaded the place, and overthrew the occupiers at that time( The Palestinian Arabs)... The Question you should now ask me is this, what has the Arabs been doing Since the Occupation? The Arabs Protested, They resorted to Violence, The resorted to direct Confrontation, They alienated the west. How has that Helped them?.........It has not helped them to recover Palestine, it has only exacerbated their suffering. Why cant they copy the Jews?.........I dont Know. Niger Deltans are also making that mistake. Know this, Politics, or Power is amoral. People will not serve you at their own detriment. As long as Niger deltans think Violence is the Only way, certain stakeholders among them will continue to benefit to the detriment of the larger populace of Niger Deltans, and Yoruba People will Continue to dominate the industry. If Justice is Blind, Business is Eagle eyed. Thats just the way life works bro. Sit up and deal with It. 3 Likes |

atlwireles: You can decieve yourself but the fact is that NIGER DELTAN are daft and clueless their gift to us was JONATHAN, Super Daft This explains a little bit of whats happening there. Coz theres more than these pictures display. But as much as I would like to sympathize with your people, I think your still the biggest cause of your own backwardness. 1. Didnt the same people through corruption vote in Uduagha and revote him when given a chance to decide? 2. Didnt those bunch of illiterates you are trying to generate sympathy for protested the arrest and trial of ex-gov Ibori? 3. Lets move around a little bit: is your so-called MEND really a freedom fighting group or just some bunch of bandits more concerned about getting kidnapping ransoms? And hasnt the FG been a little more compassion by creating. 1. AMNESTY (headed by one of your own) 2. A ministry that sees to the development of the ND (Headed by one of your own) 3. Paid x3 more allocation to your states than any-other states within the federation 4. And isnt the so-called FG now been run by one of yours? You people are fighting a lost battle. Even one of your own: President Ebele Goodluck Jonathan shares not further sympathy for MEND and your likes and has declared an all out war with you. The problem still remains you, There is no state within the country that has been developed by the Federal Govt except the FCT. The rest was developed by the people, and the type of visionary leaders they elect to run the affairs of their state. 1. You still have Sylva, a cocaine-fiend who cant point to one single achievement so far. And im sure MEND can get rid of him if they want, but they wont because the fight has never been about developing the ND. Your people are totally useless! 2. You re-elected Uduagha, the same criminal you wanted kicked out, yet who knew how hopeless your people are and was able to buy their votes. 3. The only good governor in your midst, Rotimi A. is facing barrage of attacks all around his because your people are foreign to change and development and hate him. 4. The biggest problem to GEJ isnt even the North, but how your so-called MEND has painted him as been useless, ineffective, disorganized, and a leader who cant even keep his own people in check. Im sure those criminals called MEND are used to the dollars they rake in from kidnap ransoms, thats why Amnesty wont work because they are so greedy, they cant even stop, and it will take x3 of the current forces of JFT to check their insanity. Abeg please, post more pictures, but Nigerians have come to see how selfish the ND people, and we have all just realize that even if for the next 20 years, we have presidents in this country and they are all from the ND, nothing would still change, because of the nature of your own people. Abeg, put your house in order first before posting rubbish here. The Niger Delta is one of the 10 most important wetland and coastal marine ecosystems in the world and is home to some 31 million people.1 The Niger Delta is also the location of massive oil deposits, which have been extracted for decades by the government of Nigeria and by multinational oil companies. Oil has generated an estimated $600 billion since the 1960s.2 Despite this, the majority of the Niger Delta's population lives in poverty. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) describes the region as suffering from "administrative neglect, crumbling social infrastructure and services, high unemployment, social deprivation, abject poverty, filth and squalor, and endemic conflict."3 The majority of the people of the Niger Delta do not have adequate access to clean water or health-care.4 Their poverty, in contrast with the wealth generated by oil, has become one of the world's starkest and most disturbing examples of the "resource curse". http://www.eyesonnigeria.org/EON_Extractives.html https://www.nairaland.com/587622/niger-delta-pictures/2 President Goodluck Jonathan hails from the region, and when he was elected, many people hoped their lives would improve. However, little has changed. Al Jazeera's Haru Mutasa went back to a village she visited in 2007, to see if anything has changed. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/africa/2015/03/nigeria-poverty-niger-delta-150305014819233.html 3 Likes |

OPCNAIRALAND: The number 1 requirement and consideration when investing or sitting any investment in any location on the surface of the earth is safety, security and conducive environment for the project to thrive and be successful. You can not be in one breath asking investors to invest in your backyard while in another breath threatening violence and destruction over everything you disagree with. They have to work on their approach and negative impressions of violence, kidnappings and blowing things up. This is leadership failure on the part of the leaders in thaat region, they should be using their influence at the local and federal level to reach out and conert investments instead of sending their youths out their to disrupt, destroy, kidnap people and blow things up just to get their way. Where are the leaders? Where are the governors, reps and senators? Why are they not out there speaking up against this decision? Fact is, they are very well fed and they care less about any project or investment. These are misguided youths, they should be going after their own leaders for not fighting and looking out for them instead of promoting violence, disruption and scaring away investors. 7 Likes |

alpontif: Yoruba dominating the oil and gas industry is a farce just like saying Yoruba dominating education sector we know its a farce, i can give Yoruba the dominating power in agbero, taxi driving and agbo selling space. I give it to them, that aside. The Niger Deltans are daft to me, instead of finding a niche in the energy market they reorted to touting, bunkering, vandalization and restiveness. These ijaw dudes prefer canoe to library. They prefer AK 49 to Dictionary now tell me why wont they be dominated by others. Just like the abokki today is been dominated in economic space. Niger Deltans wake up and stop been creeky and swampy in your attitude. I repeat apart from focused Aniom, Annang, Efiks and Oron with Ndoni others are just daft |

HopeAtHand: I know u'll find it hard to believe, that was why i asked u to do an independent enquiry. I agree that the SS has not been treated fair. But there are better ways of drawing investments than resort to violence. In fact, the threat of violence will even drive investments away from the region. And this seemingly unjust relocation isnt the perfect way to go about it. Pls get your facts right, there is no relocation. People re just protesting that they should site the project in their side. |

tonychristopher:even though those creeks are messed up is not their fault they resulted in drinking kai kai is part of laziness and unproductive as a people maybe this is the reason most of them could not secure a good job with oil companies.....showing you that yorrobba people was ready after the war awolowo gave them education so they can control the juicy positions meant for boys and girls drinking kai kai in the creeks....if you look at igbos from the other side what saved them was education and mostly business they involved themselves they took very serious without that igbos could have been like those people drinking their life's away...Most niger deltans are not business incline igbos from the other-side embraced businesses though that is the reason they are financially better than the rest of the country |

tonychristopher: Life is about Perception, and people act based on widely accepted perceptions, not on proven facts. It is the perception of the Niger Deltans that Yorubas dominate the industry, I cannot but address them back in the language of their perception. That aside, whether you sell agbo, or you drive taxis, the point is that you are working, you do not have an entitlement mentality. That entitlement mentality is what is destroying Niger delta people. If you are a Contractor on a project among them, Labour will be imposed on you, at their own rates...will a sane business man want to locate his business there? These are people that are perceived to be layabouts who just sit around drinking kaikai, waiting for the next pipeline to Intentionally vandalize, cause oil spillage on purpose, then sue shell for environmental degradation. These same set of people after having a whole Federal Ministry, NDDC, Scholarships, Highest Federal Allocation, Years at the Presidential Level, Community Projects by MNCs etc, are still demanding that every oil and gas project be located in their zone, inspite of their tendencies towards violence and vandalization, are Business Men Idiots? 4 Likes |
