Based on my knowledge of pharmacology,the drug of choice for staphylococcu aureus infections is methicillin.in a case whereby the organism is resistant we use Vancomycin,which is given intravenously.

No wonder, methicillin and Vancomycin used to be the first line drug for Staphylococcus spp but dese days both drugs have been stopped cos dey (Staph), is now resistant to both drugs and it's difficult to treat both methicillin and Vancomycin resistant Staphylococcus aureus.
The reason for Antibogram susceptibility testing to pin down which will achieve therapy faster (most times the quinolones)

Thanks for the lecture,well i'm not praticing yet i'm still in my fifth year so i wouldnt know all these.i've heard of vancomycin resistant staph aureus(VRSA) though.So we use the fluoroquinolones for VRSA?

Am a working class laboratory scientist, i once experience this symptoms hoping my organisation doctors could help but all was not avails until i embarked on personal research which eventually left me victorious. If the patient is a male,its could lead to sterility. Drugs alone can't get ride of staph coz i don't wish my enemy such experience (very intense internal body heat to the extent that after bathing with floating ice block in water the relief only last for 4 minutes). Specialist and Medical Doctors in the House, please be very honest, I understand the idea of protecting ones Profession and Ethics, but I think honesty is very Important as well, I think diplomacy does not key in this issue. Naked truth is needed. I do not want to Mention any Hospital here, the Hospitals are Specialist Hospitals, 1 in Abuja, 2 in Lagos and 1 in kwara state. They are big Hospitals with modern technology, Specialist and equipped Diagnostic Laboratory, note that there charges are very expensive, I am not A Doctor, I felt sick with some Symptoms, normally I visited one of the Hospitals, the consultation itself is outrageous, I do not Care, all I wanted is good Health. Note that, Typhoid and Malaria Parasite were treated before yet my symptoms remained, a Test was Suggested, when the results came out I was given some Antibiotics, in a nutshell i was given a specialist and absolute professional treatment, all advices are strictly adheres to, the Symptoms remains, I went back to complain, a more powerful Antibiotics was prescribed, same on and on, I keep paying bills, my work then takes me to other states, I became tired of the Lagos Hospital after spending so much, I tried the other 3 Hospitals, its same story, they are not quacks, they are not Alternative medicine, they are not food supplements, they are medical doctors. I have as well heard similar issues from friends, some say there symptoms reduced but later the bacteria fight back and resisted it, all the Hugenote amount i spent is gone, so Doctors what the issue, would you say those doctors are not competent, would you say STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS is Spiritual? Yes, it all started as a boil, but for the past 15years now i have been in pains. I went to UBTH, it took them 10years to know it was staphylococcus aureus. No recommendation of Antibiotic drug from the Doctor, i took the result and scanned it, sent it to an International Dr online which later prescribed Gentamicin, Cipro Tab and Vitamin C. but it still there...

Ive been following this trend and hoping to get help out of it.
I have been suffering this illness for 8 months now and each time i take medication it goes and comes back the moment my medication stops, my symptoms are increased body heat, boils on my head and itchy anus, ive used antibiotics like augmentin,oxfloxacin and cipro but still nothing worked, im currently using agbo but im skeptical. The major problem is that the test result shows that its scanty staph but they never prescribed vancomycin to me, i have tried looking for it but to no avail, please how can i get it

1. Staph could be resistant to antibiotics but not to "All Antibiotics"
2. My OND project was "Anti-bacterial Properties of Honey"
my conclusion was that; Honey can inhibits growths of pathogenic bacteria includind stap spp.
3. The problem is timing; you don't use antibiotics like other pills or just for pills sake.
E.g Antibiotics are
best used without foods or when starving and each dose has to be timed and monitored.
4. You go back to the lab for "m/c/s" and let the lab scientist give you the appopirate antibiotics and you use it accordingly else your staph remains.
or you get pure honey and cyprofloxacin tab/ Levaquine tab/ Vancomycin (intravenous).
5. I woulda loved to treat you for free but i'm not practising and indisposed.

is this sickness sexually transmitted? or from food or something.i i had an abscess since 2011 and since then i have been treating typhoid and malaria constantly.Did a test and discovered i had scanty growth of staph...took several antibiotics,injections,agbo all to no avail.am so sick and tired of it.
