Saraki joined APC from G5 and ATIKU, none of G5 crew are benefitting from APC, apart from KWANKWANSO, and Tambulwal who later contested for senate and governorship positions to cut their losses.

They felt used esp Ameachi, That's is why Atiku and Tambuwal is supporting Saraki as SP.

if you need me to lecture u on people that have presidential ambitions in Nigeria, i will lecture you some other day. Go and do your homework well, stop allowing mere speculations by Tinubu's media group to hypnotize you.

I foresee Saraki dumping APC at the long run. He only needs APC to achieve his senatorial ambition thereby gaining more popularity...... 2019 will be another political drama which will be more interesting than 2015. The players of the game will be: Buhari who might want to go for a second term. Atiku is still nursing his Presidential ambition. Tambuwal might go back to the senate and be compensated with the Senate Presidency by any of the heavyweight for the presidency. Kwakwanso will want to test his prowess at Federal level not to forget the fast and furious Bukola Saraki.

I used to be a fervent supporter of Rochas in the past prior to becoming the Governor of Imo State but he has lost it all on the altar of sheer greed and material quest. This accounts for his disdain level of performance in Imo state. So Ngige is the man to beat if at all APC is considering the SE come 2019.

I doubt no one is looking at why the SW slot for the principal officers in the senate has not been filled....simply put, no SW senator (APC) wants to commit political suicide by jumping ship(Ask Obanikoro, Femi Pedro, Agbaje and Osoba). Lasun will tell the tale when they start with him in Osun

If President Buhari decides to contest in 2019, as Luvmijeje has said, the only way he won't win is if he does not perform(highly implausible) if he does not contest, you are looking at the APC throwing a Rochas or Ngige. Which the SW will support.

Saraki only has Kwara, most of the North will still queue behind President Buhari and whoever he throws. Bottom line, Saraki having the SS and SE is inconsequential as the SW and states like Gombe, Plateau, Nassarawa which GEJ had banked on won't support him.

Then there is the issue of the NW which can do damage to any politician. Saraki should forget this zone forever as he has to contend with Kwankwaso, Buhari and Sanusi in terms of popularity, all of who are keeping away from him

Nigerians are not really that smart/aware as some people might want us to believe and can easily be swerved/washed in believing anything...Common! If a for DICTATOR, CERTIFICATE-LESS, AND RELIGIOUS/ETHNIC BIGOT (got these words from the print media )can be washed-rinsed-repackage and showcased to Nigerians as MESSIAH and they swallowed it hook, line, sinker, even the boat and river inclusive, then there is a mega chance of Saraki and Co will be president.

Even if you read peoples comments on here and observe how sentiment and lack of objectivity influences their decision/sense of judgment then its easier to understand what am saying.

I can tell you that most of the people in States that gave PMB the million+ votes just voted out of ethnic sentiment-not as if they really care about the Federal Govt.

So its possible...Saraki and Co can preside over this country. it all has to do with sentiments-which can be influenced too.
