Relationship Deceits by Joshmon(m): 10:01am On Aug 08, 2015 |
Lately it has been noticed by observers that most of the young people of this generation tend to fake their status when approaching/get advances from people of higher status and this doesn't go down well in relationships, marriages etc. I was prompt to write about this after reading a true life story of a guy that faked his parents just because he wanted to marry a girl of higher status,he kept on taking the girl to a friend's family house and worked very well on the friend's parent to perfect the lie, just for the lady to discover on the day of engagement and marriage that her suitor was from a VERY humble background, parents lived in a mud thatched house and siblings were looking haggard. The guy was lucky though, she complained to him and after the marriage it was sorted out but the question is this what if you're faking a lifestyle to get somebody who also was faking their lifestyle all along, what would you do? |
