The same thing over and over again. Now you have turned the message over the head of the messenger and he now looks insensitive and excuse seeking. Why do some of you ladies never face the facts that the sinking ship of morality contains both rape and indecent exposure (nudity) and his advise (extortion) as well. You are always apt to condemn one and excuse the other, why. One is not saying that nudity causes all rape but it contributes to some so why don't the womenfolk give it a benefit of doubt.

Using your example. If you stand at a busy road long enough you will eventually get knocked down. That is one of the reasons why people build houses. It is simply silly to live a life totally reactionary and always at the mercy of the actions or inactions of others. A lady will only elicit my sympathy if she lives and acts proactively and yes my relations will get the caution of their lives if they behave irresponsibly. This is the subject being discussed.

Same way a friend of mine accused me of trying to rape in my school days. She visited ,I just came back from lectures still dressed ,she sat on a chair I also went and sat on her legs,her face changed the voice became sober. She started ,don't try this while myself was not even thinking of anything like that.
To make it worse , someone knocked at the door when I opened it was a male friend of mine,she looked at the two of us and didn't say anything,but I know what was going on in her mind.That happened in Nov 2013,she said she was disappointed in me that I planned to rape her with my friend who was a squatter in my room. We went our separate ways .
Coming to May 2014,she remembered the so called rapist again because she was in a fix that only I alone can help her solve. She said I know we have not been the best of friends lately but let's put everything aside and get back as we used to. Am not trying to justify a guy raping a girl but most of the girls that play the victim actually faked it when nothing happened . We still friends and I keep asking her why come back to a guy who claimed wanted to rape you in the past,she wouldn't answer.

It's supposed to be the other way round. On FP every week, there is supposed to be a thread fully dedicated to condemning the act, and damning the perpetrators to hell too.

So OP, we are very grateful for the advice, thank you. But being a man, please try and do a piece for the men too. Yea, I see about 2 sentences where you said rape is bad. But they need more than that, they need an epistle, with scriptural backing like you did up there.

I really hope you dont take my suggestion the wrong way. Like I earlier said, it was indeed a nice piece. Just that I'm tired of hearing this kind of advice, and would really love to see someone actually address the root cause of the matter. As long as the venue of the alleged 'rape' was the guy's house or hotel room, and as long as the evidence of the so-called rape boils down to the girl's unverifiable accusation, then I will ALWAYS give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Yes. In the context of this topic. There are several other topics dedicated to the act and the perpetuator. This topic seeks to deal with the role of the victim in prevention and avoidance. It is a 'how to use seatbelt discourse'. It wouldn't put an end to accidents or deaths but it will help. There is a general moral decay out there. Hyper sexualisation of life. Both men and women are guilty. It is up to the victim to take precaution. Women should cut the fuel of greed and slut as their own contribution to putting out the fire. Simple. This is the topic.

All I can say is everybody should be careful nowadays. Parents should watch their kids closely these days. At this rate, nobody is safe. People are raped right in the confines of their very own home. You don't know what the person next to you has in mind for you. Today, it's the least people you expected to commit such atrocities that engage in it. My sympathy isn't with those girls who have gone a long way to degrade the growing image of substance our ladies of the past have tried to build. Act like a slut, get treated like one. But right now, my concern is with ensuring that our daughters and sons don't fall victim of such callousness. These rapists were born by man and woman, just like the rest of us. Teach your children what is right. Preach love and decency. Teach them not to RAPE.

Prevention is best. Which is not allowing it happen at all. He ACTED on what he saw. That's my main point of focus. I'm just so pained that even the women who keep themselves dignified and the innocent children today, are getting raped as well. I will not support the immorality of our young girls who won't roll with a crowd of their level. I won't support the girls who would intentionally feed off men either. All I'm trying to establish is the fact that RAPE is bad, no matter how the situation was. It's inhumane.
