if you mean unreported cases but reported cases of rape are on the increase but not necessarily because of the above.
it boils down to what the society perceives as consensual and legal advances side by side with popular culture

let them be deceiving themselves that rape will be on the decrease with indecent dressing growing to unchecked heights...

this na Naija, the legislation etc to effectively punish rape is not in place...so, girls, get wise and take all necessary steps to protect yourselves.
