Life they say is full of disappointments. I would never love again, how do i deserve this treatment' ..Those were my words when Sola broke up with me, after we had dated for just three weeks, It all seemed like a dream. I flashback and remembered how we met. We met at the main auditorium during the registration exercise for freshers. She was with this innocent look when she walked up to me , and asked if i knew the direction to the student affairs building. I wasn't in a good mood; I had just spoken with my mum. And the reply I got from her was rather dissapointing and heart-breaking. 'Tunde, there would be a slight delay in the payment of your monthly allowance this month as I need some money to pay up some debts.' Mum had said when I requested for my monthly allowance. 'But mummy I need this money urgently for some stuffs' I said raising my voice in protest. But it was all to no avail. I was so furious. The anger in my face was so obvious, Sola must have noticed it when she approached me. Seeing those cute eyes melted all the anger i felt, i smiled mildly to her, trying to pull myself together. Hello, I'm Tunde,' i said thrusting my hand forward in a business-like manner, she introduced herself as Sola, then I tried to describe where the office was to her, but she didn't understand any of my illustration, she didn't even know any of the landmarks I used to make the description easier., I wonder why she didn't know these places on campus, I couldn't blame her though, she was just a fresher, whereas I had already spent a year in the school as a pre-degree student. to cut long story short, i ended up escorting her. I was helpless on how to start a conversation with her . I had never been comfortable chatting with ladies; I went to a single-sex school,so I kept quiet through most of our walk until she asked where I was staying and i gave the direction to my hostel. Then we both kept quiet through the remaining part of our walk. I didn't ask for her phone number that day, because i didnt want her to think I was way too forward, about two weeks after, we met at the school libary, she saw me first, and beckon at me to come and sit by her side , then we got talking,we gisted about lot of things, I then found out that we were both good readers - not limiting our knowlegde to what were heard in class alone, she knew almost everything, she even knew the first eleven players of my favourite club; arsenal. When the libary closed, we strolled together towards the residencial part of campus, we exchanged phone numbers as we parted ways at a cross junction. we kept meeting in the libary through out the following week. At this point i had no friend in my department. On a wednesday, after chemistry pratical, while i was rushing to the libary to meet Sola, who i had promised to meet in the libary, to discuss some issues, then i heard someone call my name, among the crowd trooping out of the laboratory, i saw it was one of my course mate, i didn't know her name, after exchanging greetings , I asked for her name, she said Dunsin, i guess she felt embarrassed; that she knew my name, and I didn't know hers, then she said the most amazing thing i had ever heard from a lady, she said "i would love to know you", i pretended as if it was something i heard everyday, she asked me some questions which I managed to give short answers to, i excused myself, and rushed off to the libary, on my way, I couldn't help but replay Dunsin's words in my head..to continue these story, kindly follow on timmyfash..com...trying to avoid plagiarism. .a click won't hurt.
