Time for Enyimba to widen the gap with the chasing pack.

Enyimba are yet to play Sunshine Stars away. A reasonable gap would reduce the pressure and fear of getting upstaged for the league title.

Isn't there a way they couls renovate and add more seats to the stadium as opposed to knocking the entire stadium down. If they're going to need a new stadium then they can as well leave this one and find a new ground to construct a new befitting stadium. It's a shame that a club like Enyimba is sometimes made to play continental football in Abuja because of the bad state of their stadium.

The stadium looks like some cargo shed. With the population of Aba, nay Abia, an Old Tafford/Stamford Bridge style of stadium shouldn't be too much. I reckon a smaller version of those stadia cannot cost more than N3bn.
The Abia state govt, private Enyimba sponsors can chip in to contribute the funds needed for the project.

If you consider Enyimba's pitch to be the worst in the country, then that means that All other club pitches besides Nest of champions (Akwa utd uses this and it isn't even their original stadium) are nothing to write home about. Enyimba has a fairly good natural pitch in the country besides Nest of champions. Other clubs maintain artificial turfs...
