A lot has been said about Nigerian male footballers and nothing much has been said about the female footballers in Nigeria.

We checked through the pictures of female footballers in Nigeria and we realised that these female footballers can be easily mistaken to be men.

Here are the female footballers that act, look and dress like men:

1. Cynthia Uwak:
She is an ex-Super Falcon striker who currently plays for Aland United in the Women’s League in Finland. She was the African Women Footballer of the year in 2006 and 2007.

2. Chichi Igbo:
The 28-year-old Former Super Falcons star is fitness trainer, rapper & fashion designer. She has been accused severally of using steroids to be masculine but she noted that it’s her rigorous football exercises that makes her look masculine.
