That you find it hard to accept your praise Lord is an authoritative thief does not mean you should bark at justice.

These people are stealing your future and that of your unborn children. These people are taking whats belong to the nation as their personal properties. They become demi-gods so that your parents, yourself and children will be bounded in poverty slavery. How much is your father's salary? Is he not doing a hardwork? But how much does he earn in a month? How much does Diezene who doesnt do a job harder than your mom does earn? They steal and steal everything and all you are expected to do is to cowardly bark at justice.

Look at the country and ask yourself what is working. If your father develop a stroke, he will dies because the hospitals around does not have any facilities to handle stroke while Diezena will fly out on air ambulance to spain for treatment. If your mother travel from the north to south in a public or private car, she will developed body pains because the road is too bad but you can defend a theiving person who fly around like bird in chartered Jet with out common wealth. Do you know what the standard of education is in India? They steal your money are send their wom children abroad while you lavish in annually striking varsity with poor facilities. Your Granny pension is stolen, he/she is left to die like a rat beating by the rain. Your parents were paid peanuts for working HARD while the Oga you support steals largese of their sweat. Your entitlements and benefits were stolen and all you can do is to shout around like a dog that lost it bone because Diezene is from your tribe.

Sorry for the son of the meat seller who fight over bone and praise those that steal the big flesh. It is a shame tribalism and bigotry has beclouded you.

The former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani Allison Madueke, failed to sign a long-term agreement with New Delhi, Nigeria’s Number One oil buyer, but rather used intermediaries in the annual $14 billion deal, the Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ajjampur R. Ghanashyam, has revealed.
Speaking in an interview with Daily Trust on Saturday at the weekend, the High Commissioner stated that Nigeria is the only country who uses intermediaries in its oil deals with India, saying, “From other countries, when we buy oil, whatever we want to pay, we pay to the Ministry of Finance of that country. In Nigeria, we pay to intermediaries. We would like to be dealing directly with the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). It’s not a good thing. Why should we go through intermediaries? Secondly, we would also like to have long term agreement, which we have with many countries: Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and other countries from where we buy oil. Nigeria is the only country with whom we don’t have an agreement. .. When we write a letter to NNPC, we don’t get a response.”

The NNPC 2014 Annual Statistical Bulletin indicated that India bought 136,419,844 barrels of crude oil, at a time when the United States’ own purchases from Nigeria was 24,047,758. China’s oil purchases from Nigeria also went as low as 11,412,275, despite the fact that it is one of Nigeria’s major trading partners. Next to India in oil purchases from Nigeria is the Netherlands, which imported 101,953,572 barrels of crude oil in 2014. Spain is next with 79,647,587 barrels, then South Africa comes fifth with the purchase of 51,148,821 barrels of crude oil from Nigeria.

The Indian High Commissioner added that apart from the lack of long-term agreement between the two countries on crude oil purchases, in 2006, an Indian company, Oil & Natural Gas Commission Videsh Limited (OVL) and Mittal Energy International, which is a joint venture between OVL, an Indian government company, and Mittal Energy a private firm, applied for oil concession. The Signature bonus sum of $25 million was paid, but neither was the oil concession granted nor the money paid returned to the Indian companies.
He lamented the situation thus, “How many years is it? Nine years. Even to get the concession is not possible, and the money is not refunded to us. For nine years your country has been sitting on this, and they make us go round and round and round. We buy $15 billion worth of crude oil per year and we have the potential of importing $50 billion worth of crude oil from Nigeria. We can buy more because our requirement is going up. But if you continue to make us to pay through agents, and continue to ask us to buy from the swap market, it means you don’t trust us, and if you don’t trust us, we have to look for those who trust us more. We are making concessions to Nigeria by buying your crude oil because you’re our old friends and we’ve been friends for a long time, and your crude oil is better quality. But you must take our interest into account.”

Checks by our reporter at the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Abuja at the weekend revealed that the letter for the signature bonus was prepared by the department, but the former minister failed to sign it until the end of the tenure of the Jonathan administration.
Recently, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the United Arab Emirate (UAE) and signed a deal to deepen Indian trade with the Gulf State, and it is feared that the agreement could mean more oil export from UAE to India, which could affect Nigeria’s share of the oil trade.

Though Mr. Ghanashyam said India’s trade with UAE may not threaten India’s oil import from Nigeria, he revealed that there are other overtures from oil producing states.
According to him, “Today, oil is the buyers’ market, not the sellers’ market. You can’t sit on your high horse and dictate to the buyer. From Iran we used to buy 11 million metric tonnes. They want us to raise it to 22 million metric tonnes because the sanction is being lifted. They want to come back in full force. The last time our prime minister went to Iran, they said they wanted to invest between $8 billion and $10 billion in India. Saudi Arabia has offered to use their own oil fleet to supply crude oil to India. That means we get transportation at Saudi’s cost, that is a difference of 50 cents per barrel.

Countries are trying to woo India because we are the third largest consumer of oil in the world, after the United States and China, .. and we need more. Every year we need between $6 billion and $8 billion additional worth of crude oil. We will go everywhere to buy crude oil.”
Already, Nigeria has lost oil deals with both the United States and China in the last few years. China, which used to import crude oil from Nigeria has shifted its loyalty to Angola, Daily Trust on Sunday gathered. Though no official of the Chinese Embassy could be reached for an explanation to the decline of the Asian country’s oil deal with Nigeria, Mr Charles Onunaiju, who is the Director of the Center from China Studies in Abuja attributed it to the instability in Nigeria’s oil sector.
According to Mr Onunaiju, “China imports more from Angola because of the instability in the oil industry. Also, they are reaching out to Saudi Arabia, Iran, Venezuela. There’s also a huge deal with Russia which is being struck for the supply of some $400 billion worth of crude oil over the next 30 years.”

Meanwhile, the Indian High Commissioner told our reporter that the attempt by two Nigerians to cross the Indian border with Pakistan to join ISIS came as a surprise to the mission in Nigeria.
According to him, “The students came from Kano and went to Bangalore to study. We’ve been liberal about granting students visas to Nigerians. With what has happened they have broken the visa rule, so when students apply to us for visa we have to do more checks. It’s quite unfortunate.

GEJ and Allison-Madueke are very wicked and heartless crooks. It is as simple as that. Some of us warned Nigeria to prepare for the sleaze coming out today because of our disposition for seeing things for what they are and calling a spade a spade. Whereas many Nigerians let ethnic sentiments and sectional bias cloud their vision and judgement to the extent they defended and continue to defend the very obvious and unconscionable looting Ali Baba (GEJ) and his forty thieves (Allison-Madueke et al) destroyed Nigeria with. Was it not under GEJ that private jets became the transport of choice for all government 'contractors, oil marketers and general AGIPs benefiting from the largesse of an ultra-corrupt government?

I make bold to predict that it will be revealed, with irrefutable proof and evidence, that GEJ is the most corrupt and heartless Nigerian President ever. Next to be revealed, as I stated many times in the past, is that it was GEJ and Allison-Madueke who stage-managed the fuel subsidy scam, the biggest in the history of Nigeria, using their numerous minions and cronies. When some of us were revealing how horribly sleazy and wickedly corrupt Allison-Madueke was as far back as 2011 (see thread below) we were insulted by ethnocentric ne'er-do-well who vilified our character ungraciously and defended their kinsmen/women blindly even when it was obvious these folks were destroying the future of million. Now the evidence is coming out they are still in denial and still failing to face and accept the truth. Nigerians are their own biggest enemies. Unless we begin to put Nigeria first, and shun sentiments of 'my brother/ my village man/my religious affiliate' et al, then progress will be slow for us all.

This is not about Allison-Madueke alone. Let us begin to call a spade a spade in cyberspace so others don't think Nigerians are routinely aberrant, ethnocentric and biased people who can never see or admit the truth. It is pointless defendng Allison-madueke because the crux of the matter, which any honest and upright Nigerian can identify, is about sleazy and thieving practices PDP put in place that was then maintained from one PDP government to the next because the Party is a congregation of heartless crooks and rogues!!!!

GEJ did not break the chain of that looting cycle. Instead, through the likes of Allison-Madueke, GEJ took things to another level entirely. I jokingly call it the 'private jet level. It is right to focus on Alllison-Madueke and the Governance of GEJ because Allison-Madueke was the immediate past Petroleum Minister who supervised the 'bankruptcy' looting which now threatens Nigeria's survival while GEJ was her crooked and unconscionable boss who gave her the free hand to loot Nigeria on behalf of 'awon boyz'. Please let us call a spade a spade and stop the practice of defending some leaders when it is crystal clear they wronged God, man, their nation and destroyed the future of millions .

It's as if your lips are stuttering trying to comprehend and find an explanation for the whole thing. You know what going through intermediaries mean, don't you? It means paying consultation fees on deals you could do directly. I'm not finding her guilty on this one though, I'd like to see her own explanation... Though we both know I don't think she's innocent.

Your capacity to make informed decision is minimal hence you need details beyond newspaper article to make a meaningful contribution

Have you thought of terms of payments.

Have you heard of de credi agents who pay for the products sold or unsold for certain percentage commission?

Have you heard Nigeria sells crude oil on credit?

If an agent undertakes to go for a target of 2.6 billion barrels per day and bear the total responsibility for our monthly sales at a minimal percentage commission then Why not, if not. It's the best bet.

u guys r myopic in ur judgement that s my problem with u, u've already conclude d case without the accused appears before the jury.
How r we sure that the documents concerning that deal wasnt destroyed by the obj regime which the deal was initiated?
The high commissioner said it is only nigeria that they deal with intermediaries when dealing wif crude sales, it means this did not start yesterday but has been the deal since time immemorial.
It also means if indians started buying our oil from 1976 when baba was the pioneer oil minister, then the corruption didnt just start when gej came in, he inherited it from his predecessor.
It also means that it became a law n part of the rules in the institution of nnpc.
Gej didnt institutionalised corruption, those who did r been praised for speaking n attacking gej.

Indeed. that is why I have stated it above several times that Nigerians are their own biggest enemies. Some of us shouted ourselves hoarse here while trying to bring attention to the monumental looting going on under GEJ that was literally destroying Nigeria. Yet his bigoted Party/ethnic/religious affiliates will come here to insult us and focus attention on our username rather than the message which any upright and honest person working with fact cannot dispute. foe example, they insulted me when I stated the obvious truth which indicated to any pragmatically honest person that GEJ is a crook.

I asked two very relevant questions in the past which, for most honest folks, revealed the crookedness of GEJ and Allison Madueke. i asked:

(1) If the FG (formerly headed by GEJ) and NNPC (formerly headed by Allison-Madueke) were the two sole authorities able to issue marketer licence for operation in the oil sector, then how did this Licences end up in the hands of essentially road side mechanic who had no experience, capacity or expertise to operate as fuel marketers? When these folks predictably went on to scam Nigeria monumentally with the fuel subsidy saga was it not obvious who be dem oga?

(2) Why did GEJ find it acceptable to bin the recommendation of the Ribadu petroleum task force and then even sanctioned a Doyin Okupe-led character assassination war against the former EFCC boss? Again is it not obvious GEJ deliberately failed to close 'Avenues' of looting because him and his gang were benefiting from the sleaze that was making them all instant billionaires and private jet owners?

One does not need to be a rocket Scientist to note that GEJ is a heartless crook who deliberately and callously set out to bankrupt Nigeria as Pastor Bakare claimed our former President would try to do. The major problem is that many Nigerians are very biased, prejudiced, ethnocentric, sentimental and religiously intolerant folks. If not for this then GEJ would have been stopped ages ago because his "I don't give a damn" looting was so brazen and obvious to the extent even the international community broke with diplomatic etiquette to be openly calling out our President as a Crook. They never did this to OBJ or Yar Adua which shows how offensive and inhumanly evil the looting that went on under GEJ to the unbearable repulsion of others.

Crude Oil market goes beyond buying and selling.

It also involves high level politics and so many large multinational corporations are also involved in lobbing for commission.

We need comprehensive details beyond politics to ascertain what informed the choice of an agent over direct dealings.

Did Ribadu not make the same claim the Indian high commissioner make in 2012 as head of the Petroleum solution-finding task force GEJ himself deceptively put together after the entire universe got on his case over the fuel subsidy riot that took Nigerian lives? did Ribadu collude with this Indian back in 2012 when he stated, as the Indian does, that Nigeria is the only major supplier of crude selling their oil through traders and intermediaries? Did Ribadu not ask GEJ to put an end to that practise which abets the looting of Nigeria's oil wealth and destroyed transparency?

Did GEJ do as Ribadu requested or did he bin the report simply because him and Allison-Madueke were the crook looting Nigeria? can you remind us what GEJ did about the Ribadu recommendations which was praised worldwide as a set of solutions which would have "sanitised" our oil sector if adopted and implemented? I simply don't know why Nigerians are averse to calling a spade a spade when such is terribly obvious and would rather blame Tom, d1*ck and Harry. instead you will always blame someone/thing else as you do here with your comment of not 'trusting' the Indian when he has said nothing new and is actually revealing 'odd' and corruption-friendly practises the PDP government has been warned, home and abroad, to move against for decades now.

Please stop this display of ignorance. He was trying to be gentle with you. Your post shows you have little understanding of the role the Ioc's play in the industry or what good business practice is.

Stop being ridiculous, what do you know more above a decision taken by the Economic team consisting of Malam Sanusi Lamido, Dr Iweala, Madueke and others and endorsed by the Presidency?

Is like every Dic.k and Harry have invaded the thread like members of 7th NASS who have no proper knowledge of secondary economics.

You don't make informed contribution in matters of this level with one article.

And moreover, this decision appears to have been taken by the Economic team of seasoned technocrats.

you always talk nonsense and I doubt that will ever change. You disparage others and hide behind some pretend erudition when it is obvious to all that you don't know much and are only engaging in blind defence of the GEJ government and its members because of nothing but the prejudice you are notorious for here on this forum. Man mi, say the truth and shame the devil. Ali baba (GEJ) and his forty thieves (Allison-Madueke et al) are brazen, shameless and heartless crooks. The Indian high commissioner is merely revealing operational practises Nigeria deploy in her oil sector which are counter-productive, abet corruption and the looting of Nigeria. He is saying nothing new or revolutionary and all your irrelevant talk just make you appear dishonest and not intelligent as you obviously wish to be perceived as.
