Attached pictures are gridlock at Benin City (between the two by-pass) yesterday on my way back to Lagos from East. We spent close to one hour on this gridlock caused by tankers and trailer indiscriminate parking between 12noon and 1pm.

I am by this post appealing to nairalanders to escalate this on other social network to attract the attention of Comrade Governor to intervene like his Lagos state counterpart when there a similar at Costain and other places in Lagos.

It is worthy of note that there were no Police, FRSC and Edo State Traffic management officials on sight except MOPOLs on escort duties.

Moderator, front page would be appreciated. Thank you.

Its very bad. Tankers allowed to using roads in daytimes not only causes these things but also causes road fire and accidents.
Spending that ONE HOUR may have been the worst of traffic you have experienced in your life, if so then it is well with you.
Politicians are mostly the owners of those heavy duties that's why they turn deaf ears to the gory outcomes and news resulting from the chaos caused by it.
