As a matter of fact, I received this destiny resetting slap from mum yesterday after all these years . I was at fault though.

As the child ages, the chances of going physical gets slimmer till it reaches the point where parents do nothing than scold/advice.

My grandma still beat me with umbrella on saturday and am above 20 sef,Nigerian parent no send age o,as long as you still live in their house....lol

I love them tho,its all for the best

Beating a child, I really do not see it as necessary or good, I can only beat my child if what he did really absolutely necessitate it....

We must treat our children the way our parents treated us, that's the value of education, they (our parents) never really got....

As long as you are still under your parents, they should discipline you but I feel certain forms of discipline like beating should not be used for 18+. No amount of beatings will take away the negative habit at this stage. You can sit the child down and talk sense into his/her brain.
