A pastor, Mrs Tonye Apraela, on Wednesday obtained the expression of interest form and nomination form to contest the governorship of Bayelsa State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking shortly after collecting her forms at the party’s secretariat in Abuja, Apraela said she would surely bring to an end the impoverishment of the downtrodden in the state if voted in office at the poll billed to hold on December 5.

Apraela, who is the only female among 13 aspirants that have so far indicated interest for the Bayelsa plum job remarked that President Muhammadu Buhari virtues motivated her to join the APC.

She also maintained that she has all it takes to harness the abundant resources in the state to tackle the multifaceted problems bedevilling the state.
