of course. everyone. the problem is Honda makes finer cars than Toyota. else that tyre problem would have closed honda by now. just compare crosstour and venza for example. but Toyota is stronger.

You need to be more attentive to your car

Its cos of the fake part and non chanlant altitude of some cars owner ... But being using my honda accord 2002 (baby boy V6) for the past 6 years and never encounter such due to constant checkup when ever I notice some sound from the suspension area ... Though I spend more time in the mechanic workshop cos of what I notice from other honda users on the road ... Can't imagine my self in that condition when am a bit tipsy,or in the rain or in the highway in the middle of the night on sunday when workshops are closed ....

Please who could recommend a good Honda mechanic residing in Lagos for me?

I don't get it, for those defending HONDA, is it the only car that the owners have poor maintenance cultures? Or is it the only car that the parts can be easily faked? Abegi, it's a honda problem, either poor construction or inability to find a perfect fit. Yes, Honda cars are sleek with good shock absorbers, etc, but this ball joint problem is a major setback. I hate the car for this problem, it does not give signs sometimes. So disappointing, you have an appointment to keep and as you are about to make a turn from a pot hole, it just park you at the middle of the road, oh no!, not again. I don't see other cars do this, and even if they do, it's not all the time as a denominator which Honda holds constant. My little piece.

You are a Liar...before the ball joints cave in, A Honda car must have been giving you signs for at least two weeks..you probably just ignored or too dumb to notice...I have been using an EOD for 2 years now and I have never had my tyres cave in....When I get the warning (little noises from the tyres when making turns), I change my ball joints immediately.....

We should talk about solution instead.

There is no solution though except you buy an original OEM CV joint.
Another thing I could think of is avoid driving on a rough surface , not in naija!
And avoid wide turning , you can make U turn or F turn in 10 tows, that reduces pressure on the shaft!

I strongly believe a sound maintenance culture is necessary for Honda cars , and it is always wise to have a good Toyota car for stand by if one should want to have a Honda ride especially for its aesthetics and swags which someone like me would rather confine to using for special events.

What is the CV joint? Is it the same thing as upper arm?
