Please has anyone encountered any issues with fcmb bank statement of account? I submitted mine to my sch since Tuesday. They told me they wanted to verify before my CAS will be issued. Fcmb didn't respond to their enquiry since then. It's just frustrating. May be it's because the statement was printed in black and white. I really don't know. |

The response would be from your bank's headquarters in your country so your only option is give the bank HQ a call to ask or be patient. acevic: |

Guys how far.. been following this thread for a bit. You guys are amazing. I've got a little challenge. So I recently secured admission to study Msc pet economics in Uni of Aberdeen. I'm expecting my CAS to arrived in May. My challange is, Prior to my application to Aberdeen. I applied to a Uni in Canada and as you would have guessed I was denied. The thing is I paid my full tuition and accommodation to the school in Canada. And now that I'm denied Visa, they're saying they dont handle refund cases until October this year.. and my program is to commence in September!! And I need these funds to pay my tuition fees in Aberdeen. Now I've got some cash in my personal account not much and in my father's pension scheme .. these are the funds I plan to use to apply for Visa pending when I get the refund. My question is can I use the funds on my dads pension sheme to apply for Visa? Thanks guys School's is to resume in September. |

Zoey1: I know thanks. My advice to anyone planning to use FCMB is to have a rethink. I've never encountered such a horrible service in my entire life. They present you a black and white printed statement of Account. No letterhead paper. You email them to verify a statement of Account issued at one of their branches, it becomes a Herculean task. 9 working days and still counting |

Get the money needed to your bank account or your parents account. Education Fund, Education loan - Yes. Pension scheme ,I doubt because you can't prove it's basically for your studies. Ecee0147: |

Morning people, please help me out. I have read the trend extensively, but then I can't find related response to this question I found a school that is affordable that I can apply to. The school offers my course on part time (evening classes) I want to know if it is possible to get a visa with this school. Thank you so much. |

Yes there are if you do your research but not for all courses. Usually first year is a taught programme while second year is a work placement / Internship. wintabotom: |

Good day everyone especially justwise for all your good works.I recently came to be aware of this group and have read and gained alot from hundreds of pages in this forum from highly respected professionals. Thanks ones again for all your good works.i need your advise please.I actually schooled in the UK for my MSC Marketing from January 2013 to 2014 and actually came back December 2014.I have applied for visiting visa on September 2017 but was refused because the VO observed that there was inconsistent deposits in my account. Then my wife got admission to study Msc and i applied together with her as her dependent on December 2017 but the VO rightly refused us because we wrongly left the fund (balance of tuition fee and maintenance) in my account instead of my wife's account as the main applicant.I applied again for visitors visa around October 2018 but it was also refused because the VO refered to my previous refusals and also pointed that there was not enough transactions in my account statement and also i did not present any assets i have in Nigeria. Now i got admission for a master by research programme (MRES) on Business Management for September session,my question is,will my previous refusals be a challenge for this new application and two, do i meet the progression criteria having studied in UK previously on MSC marketing.I actually want to progress to a Phd programme with the help of this programme. Thanks all and hope you will do justice to my present challenge. |

iche123: Actually, there are lots of disparity points in your history and surely the VO will see that and might also sense desperation to travel and not return. I think you should have re-applied with your wife as the main applicant while transferring the funds to her account or using a joint account which will have both names. Going from visiting to wife Mac then back to visiting and now School again is not quite regular. I would say she re-apply again and get all the preparations right. 2 Likes |

iche123: 1.Did your wife finally got the visa? 2. Are you planning to apply together with her now? Regarding the progression question...you really have to take your time and explain to the ECO the difference between these two courses and your career plan after the study. |

HI Justwise,AS we were refused on December 2017,she didn't reapply again due to the cost involved however,i was the only one that applied for visitors visa.Though she deferred her admission. Is it wise for her to reapply again while i apply as her dependent or i apply for this MRES course while she apply as my dependent..Please i need an easy solution considering the amount involve in UK visa application at the moment, thanks justwise: |

@ Ralphjean, we haven't taken any additional steps since we were refused tier 4 visa on the grounds that the fund was in my account instead of my wife's account. But am willing to stop my own application so she can apply as the main applicant while i apply as the dependent and have all the fund transfered to her account as the main applicant if its the best solution at the moment.Or i can allow her apply alone for the tier 4 visa and apply immediately if she gets the tier 4 visa if my refusal history will be a problem. What do you think please RalphJean: |

iche123: If I would suggest, it will be based of the ‘unstated’ motive. You are not as interested in the MRES as you are in ‘zooming off from Naija’. Having said that, I would transfer all the funds into wifey’s account. She will apply for a T4 Visa. The day she gets her visa, I would re-transfer the funds into my own account. Then apply for T4 dependant 29 days later. Your initial submission would suggest that your wife will easily ‘pass’ the ‘credibility’ test more than you. Infact, if I am an ECO, I will think 10x before granting you a T4 student visa. Your wife has a ‘cleaner’ record and her route seem easier... Good morning |
