The scholarships for African Students is been categorized into two sections : Australian Awards Scholarships : for candidates who are interested in taking a higher degree studies in Australia at Masters level, and Australia short courses : for candidates who wish to undertake short-term targeted professional training courses in Australia and/or Africa, in a range of development focused sectors.



Australia Awards is a key element of the Australian Government's development assistance program for Africa. It is aimed at ;

Providing access to postgraduate education
Giving training and professional development opportunities for suitably qualified Africans from eligible countries.
It is expected of the Australia Awards Alumni to contribute actively to development in their home countries. This progamme has been carried out successfully since 1980.

Nope... You'll be fixed if you are successful..

They already said it that they reject a lot of Nigerian application because they do not comply with the instructions or fill the required column or supporting documents. And sometimes application are sent in late, Australia is 8hours ahead of us, do not forget that while you send in your documents. A friend is there now and moved his wife after awhile.
Do not give up.
Application for short course ended yesterday being 15th January 2018.
