What has a country, its population size or membership of Nato got to do with the intellectual capacity and knowledge of one of its citizen? This is a clear case of ad hominem attack. Trying to undermine the integrity of the person and appealing to feelings/prejudices rather than intellect. If you cannot bring forth a clear and articulated arguments to refute his claims please do the needful and keep your ignorance, arrogance and stupidity at bay so you won't infect us.

People that are close to administration must remember that you must remove or destroy all factors including human that will prevent your policy from running smoothly. Those preliminary foundation cleansing is what PMB is doing now. Jonathan did it when Yaradua died abd nobody cried: so why the wailing now?

This is one of the most sensible comments I've read in a
while, as regards to President Buhari's nominations.
All these selfish, stupid and aggrieved Yoruba/Igbo people
should just go and sit somewhere.

Ndigbo's that are killing themselves about the appointments made so far by President Buhari are just funny. Aside the fact that we Igbos shouldn’t expect sensitive appointments from him because many of us hate him without any justifiable reason and no smart politician will give such positions to his ‘enemies’,
what did all our brothers that occupied sensitive positions
recently achieved for our geopolitical zone? Recall that Igbos
recently occupied head positions in Central Bank and
Ministry of Finance. Also, an Igbo was recently appointed
Secretary to Government of the federation, Minister of
power, Minister of Solid Minerals, Head of Due Process unit,
Minister of Education, Minister of Aviation, Executive
Director of Nigerian Communications Commission, Chief of
Army Staff, Inspector General of Police, Senate President,
Deputy Senate President and Deputy speaker of house of
Representatives. Also recently, an Igbo was appointed the
Director General of National Broadcasting Commission. The
question is what did all those Igbo appointees achieved for
Ndi Igbo? Even Goodluck Jonathan that you foolishly
accepted as your brother during his days in Aso Rock
achieved nothing for you when he was the President.

If appointments can dictate how a region should develop,
Southeast would have been a paradise by now because our
brothers occupied almost all the sensitive positions recently.
Another thing Igbos should understand is that the federal
character principle they are quoting as their basis of
argument is the greatest enemy of Nigeria especially Igbos.
This principle champions the promotion of tribal mindsets
instead of meritocracy in Nigeria as Nigerians are always
after the state of origin of every federal appointee and
prospective candidates for admissions instead of their
performance. It is because of same federal character that a
provision was made for ‘Education less developed’ states
which always make it possible for indigenes of those states
to be giving more and cheaper consideration during
admissions and recruitment in order to promote equity in
line with the federal character. This is Rubbish! Such has
caused situations whereby somebody from Anambra or Imo
will score average of about 260 in JAMB UTME and POST-
UTME but will be denied admission while somebody from
states like Zamfara, Ebonyi or Bayelsa will score average of
about180 and will be admitted in order to achieve the so
called equity in intellectual distribution among all the states
in line with same federal character. Same federal character
is the reason why instead of criticising the performance
ability of appointees, Nigerians especially Igbos will only be
interested in their states of origin.

Federal character is evil.
This is the hour of change and it must be jettisoned! If
Nigeria must progress, we must do away with federal
character and state of origin provisions and encourage
meritocracy and state of residence. I don’t care where
appointees come from, all I want is excellent performance.
If the wailing Igbos like they should continue hating Buhari
while the Niger-Deltans are busy consolidating their region
and supporting his government. At last Igbos will remain the
wailing loosers. It baffles me the way some of my Igbo
brothers are hating Buhari without any justifiable reason.
Even the Niger-Deltans that are more closer to the failed
government of Goodluck Jonathan always acknowledge that
he betrayed them, but the Igbos that are not in any way
brothers to the failed President are killing themselves and
even their conscience with baseless sentiments. Also, I have
expected these misguided Igbos to understand that the
Niger-Deltans who they foolishly took as their brothers
during the elections are not at any point with them. These
Niger-Deltans have understood that they can't make any
political achievement in Nigeria without the cooperation of
other tribes, and wisely began to issue their supports and
cooperation to the Buhari led government while the
misguided Igbos are still enslaving themselves with baseless
sentiments. Believe it or not, political appointments are
catalysed by intelligent lobbying and not unnecessary
hatred. No smart politician will appoint his haters to
sensitive positions.

I will never blame Buhari if he fails to appoint any Igbo to key positions. I am proud of Niger- Deltans and they are already reaping the fruits of their wisdom. Igbos should have a rethink!

WHAT A FAKE WORLD…
A child comes into the world crying,
Everyone is rejoicing…
He starts growing
Everyone loves him and desires to carry him and call him nice names
He starts trying to succeed and people are encouraging him to rise up
But when he starts making progress, the problem starts
Some will become jealous, looking for how to pull him down
He dares them and steps on their toes to climb higher
They hate him and curse him and call him names, even wishing him dead…
Unfortunately he dies and everyone starts crying…
They start saying wonderful things about him
“He was a good man”
“He was nice”
“He was faithful”
But if I may ask, “Why will he suddenly become good after death?”
“Will anyone give his/her life for this man to come back to life?”
What if a miracle happens and the man starts rising again from the grave?
Wow! Everyone will jump up and run for their lives…
Hahahaha… what a fake world!
Aren’t this world and the people fake?
Pretence and deception everywhere
Fake celebrities on tv, borrowing ladies and cars to shoot videos just to make us admire them and wish we were as wealthy as they are
They act very sexy parts and appear half-nude in movies
But they try to appear descent in real life
So the life in the movie is far different from the real life?
If so, why do we try to copy the ‘TV-life’ and not their real life?
There is always a beautiful face on the cases of creams and soaps
It’s just to deceive you and make you believe that the
beautiful woman on the pack has been using the soap, therefore if you want your skin to be like hers, you have to buy the soap or cream…
What a terrible lie… You will be shocked to know that the woman on the pack has never used that soap or cream, she is a model that was hired to make the product sell…
Oh! It’s obvious that we live in a fake world,
A world that cannot be trusted
A world that will not last long
A world that will soon fade away
So I have no other choice than to stick to my one and only Jesus
The Alpha and Omega
The best companion ever
His yes is yes and no, no
Even if the world fades away and throws everyone into danger, you will never be disappointed with Jesus by your side
WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS,
ALWAYS A FRIEND, FOREVER A TRUSTED FRIEND,
DISCONNECT FROM THE WORLD AND STAY WITH JESUS AND
HE WILL GUIDE YOU TILL THE END..

Chukwu emeka indeed.

You're such a hypocrite!
Last dispensation, Yorubas were crying of marginalisation in Jonathan's govt despite that many of them were appointed by GEJ. Also, they were the ones that sold out their slot for Speaker to the Northwest which already had VP just to strengthen the opposition. Why is it a crime now if igbos complain, when they are obviously marginalised?

Northwest never hid their hatred for GEJ both during and after the elections, yet he carried them along in his government. They held prominent positions in his government. Is that not how a responsible leader should act? You listed positions Igbos have occupied in the recent past, what about Northwest that has always had one or 2 positions out of the First four in the past 16 years? Speaker (1999-2007), President (2007-2009), VP & Speaker (2010/2011-2015), President (2015-2019) not to talk of the many other dignifying positions. How have they collectively bettered the lives of North westerners whose zone remains 2nd to the last most undeveloped zone after North East?

Believe it or not, Igbos have always done well despite reduced FG presence in the south East. For Igbos to be standing strong despite the impact of the civil war and the attendant consequences thereafter shows you that there is more to the Igbo spirit than what Nigerians can see. The most successful Nigerians on the international scene are mostly Igbos, then Yorubas.

We are only asking for equity and justice. If FG wants to expunge Federal Character from the constitution and promote competence, we're ready for it. I can tell you that it will benefit us the most. If however Federal Character must be retained, then it must be applied with fairness as much as possible.

A foreigner living in Nigeria asked me what ONE CHANCE means. I told him that it's about criminals filling up their bus with their members waiting to do harm to unsuspecting passengers. They pretend that their transportation only needs one passenger to depart to your destination, as against an empty bus that will wait longer to fill up before departure. And if you get into the bus, your obituary may have just been written. He replied, that sounds like APC government.

The man said two rubbish in one statement there.

First of all, GEJ's government was not mediocre, it is was an utterly moronic and incompetent government, that almost destroyed the nation irrevertably. Led by a man (the Cretin of Otuoke) so dumb, his dumbness made his intentions evil.

Secondly, Buhari can't be described as competent yet. He is a decent and fortright President with good intentions.

Buhari is one of the best candidates to save the nation. I am not too sure about rating his competence as a leader that high but his intent as a leader is very good.

For those who cannot the watch the video, the reporter is trying to say that the Media paints Third-world countries to be worse than they are. He used Nigeria as an example.

I did not put up this pictures to say Buhari is Good or Bad. I put it to show to show another perspective of how Nigeria is viewed.

Also, Sweden is not huge in politics, so its great to see a Small country talk about us in a positive light.

You just spoke my mind. Has he ever gone into power before? Has he lived in Nigeria? Was he here under Jonathan's administration? Yet he opens his mouth to call the administration mediocre. That guy deserves slap!!

The dullard is being over-hyped around the world. We will see how the story is going to be different in the next four years! However, I personally like Swedish people.

Quite right. However, I am sure he was talking in terms of population.
Not only that, Nigeria has the largest economy in Africa as well. So the Swedish man is completely correct.

"The country's MEDIOCRE government has been replaced by a competent President"
What is the reason behind this statement? I hate such arbitrary use of words. Its not about which political party now.
I hope this same statement will not be repeated by this time in the next four years?
Buhari is trying well but he can never please everybody. Goodluck's administration irrespective of its ups and downs should be given some credit too.
BTW: that Oyibo, is his father from Ikorodu?
