According to a reliable source, the marital union between a certain Mr and Mrs Oduchukwu is almost a wreck courtesy of an alleged involvement of Emma Ike, the estranged wife of Emeka Ike.

Emma Ike, who is currently seeking divorce from her husband, accusing him of battery which investigation has proved to be false according to comments from their children and neighbours, has been alleged to be in an adulterous relationship with Mr Oduchukwu, whose wife was battered by her husband for kicking against the illicit affair.

Emma Ike moved into the house of a friend, Queen in Shangisha, her former neighbourhood where she lived with her husband before they moved into Magodo Estate, found solace in the brotherly fellowship of Household of God and also in the arms of a married man Louis Oduchukwu.

The same Louis Oduchukwu had reportedly been arrested by the Special Anti-robbery Squad(SARS) at the instance of Emeka Ike who acted on the suspicion of an ungodly relationship between his wife and Louis, whom he thought was blackmailing his wife, forcing her to act inappropriately.

Louis’ wife followed him to the station and stayed all night with their four-month old baby to see to her husband’s release, pleaded with Emeka who later let Louis off the hook.



The story then took a twist when Louis’ wife, Mrs Oduchukwu began to pay close attention to her husband and family closeness to Emma, discovered some series of intimate text messages between her husband and Emeka Ike’s wife, warned Emma to stay off her house and husband.

Emma who claimed innocent was thrown out of her friend’s (Queen) house after her own son spilled the beans by telling Queen how Uncle Louis has been ‘dropping’ them off near the house so as not to run into Queen and how he once witnessed the two of them (Louis and Emma) sharing bathroom.

The boys were returned to their father, Emeka while Emma was rescued by her lover Louis who rented an apartment for her.

Louis’ wife confronted Louis with the facts and findings of her investigation, this infuriated Louis who in defence or guilt descended on her, beating her black and blue, and leaving her beyond recognition. She promptly reported him at Magodo Police Station. Louis who couldn’t believe his wife had the gut to report him to the police resisted arrest until the police practically forced him to the police post in Magodo. It was at that point that Ministry of Women Affairs got involved and told the wife to let the Ministry take up the case. She refused on the ground that she wants to protect her children and draw less attention at work.

According to a source who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said Louis was eventually released but the marriage might be on the brink of divorce as the wife is still very bitter that her husband beat her because of another woman, Emma.
‘She was severely battered. Her hair was pulled, even the police were surprised at the beating’ our source said.
‘She is further pained that her husband helped Emma secure employment at the company he works in the same company with Emma?’ the source concluded.
