The respondents, Okezie Ikpeazu, and PDP had gone on Appeal against the decision of the Tribunal that all preliminary objections shall be taken along with the substantive petition.

A total of three motions were presented to the court by the plaintiff. Two of the motions were discarded by the court, and the court proceeded on just one motion. After thorough delibreration, the court concluded today with a ruling in favour of the defendant, Dr. Alex Otti.
