I just saw this thread today. I've been researching on the best phone to buy so I can enjoy DSTVmobile. Most of the phones have small screens which I detest due to my less-than-perfect eyesight.

I've decided to go for the Nokia N97 [with it's 3.5 inch screen] even though it requires the SU-33X TV receiver.

been receiving some funny phone call from different numbers but the voice sounds familiar,imean same voice,telling me that he is in warri and he wants the tv receiver, the same voice will call with another number saying he is in abuja, port harcourt,,he will be pretending as if he dosent trust me, he wants me to send the receiver b4 he makes payment,i know he is here in this forum, i no be mumu angry, i be comfirm omo ibo,if i no see my cash ,i no go send even the manual not to talkless of the device,crime/fraud no dey pay again, even if u play anybody today,i bet u say u must suffer for it angry
the mumu no know say my phone always dey on call record,no even bother because i no fit fall for ur trap,

@hamid not yet compatible with n900. Ur phone is not a symbian operating system. Just hope there is a mobile tv apps for n900 in the near future

@jibson i no wan reply ur text becos i hv received a phone call from person about 2 months ago saying he wants the tv receiver and i gave him gozie's number becos he said he wil be going to abuja the next day,till 2day i have heard nothing,wilfem was the first to buy this receiver from me and the guy neva see my face b4, user32 from abuja neva see my face but he don buy 4 from me, aieromon is in benin,e neva see me face 2 face b4 but e don buy reach 3 plus one of his friend wey come to my office to pick up 1 b4 heading back to benin. So jibson ask anybody here if i don dissapoint dem b4? Many nairalanders knows my house and office. If u want the item call my number and i will give u my acct. Number,if u pay in the morning ,u will get it the next day

IMO,I think its best to get a phone + mobile tv receiver cos my friend's N96 picture quality isnt as good as mine.Infact,he needs to wear an earphone jack to boost signal reception.

willy my guy, n82 no dey compatible yet and nokia no dey do the firmware update again,
my friend bought the phone for his elder brother,na so we test am, the apps install but e no open

@ceejay i dey fel u,2 more to go. But supersport 7 is for commonwealth and fiba world,and the sound quality 4 S city is pretty poor even on my 5800.

Yes user32, soundcity dey poor for volume but e no matter. For those wey their phone get FM TRANSMITTER,e.g. N78,n79,n86,n85,n97 etc and u get correct sound system radio deck for ur house or any radio,cd player, open ur mobile tv and increase the volume and close mobile tv. go to ur Fm transmitter for ur phone and set the frequency to ur choice e.g. (98.4fm) ,put the fm transmitter ON, then start ur mobile tv, go to ur sound system player wey dey ur room and tune the fm to 98.4fm and the mobile tv go dey play loud on ur cd player

@honsule go 4 phones wit tv out N79,N86,N97mini,N97,,5800,x6,6220c,n85, but phones that has no tv out E75,N78,6760,6790,e72,5530,5230,5235. "Ur choice"
