if the first one wey i talk no work, load 500 naira on ur mtn sim and activate 131 24hr browsing or load 1k on ur zain and activate their one month browsing, the type *#0000# click option>check for update>update the phone firmware. I remember encountering dat problem b4 on a friend's N96. I updated the firmware and it was ok. The update wont take more than 5 to 10mins

IF u own a Nokia E66,E63,E71 and its still under warranty,please take it to any nokia care center for free firmware update so make we know if the dstv mobile will work on them

numaj how far,u don update ur n96? Its like mtn 130 to 131 50mb no dey work again. Use zain 1,000naira 1month browsing to update. Load 1k on ur zain line and type *141*712*4# then send

Do i u think most of those that ave 5530 brought the fone for to be paying 1500. They have it because its free for now.Even in europe only few countries have recorded success.Mobile tv wil not successful if the youths are not favoured. I dönt see one person having dstv and dstv mobile at the same starting from april 2010. They should not only reduce the price but also upgrade their channels.

There's nothing to calculate except profit.DSTV and MTN are not charity organisations.Check how much they paid for the EPL and you want to watch it for N1,500.Why are people on Family and Access bouquets not watching BBA or SS3?People pay megabucks to watch premium channels and you want such channels on mobile at a giveaway price?

Nigeria has an economy fuelled by taste and ignorance.It's only in Nigeria we spend as much as N10,000 per month on internet services.If they've not recorded success in Europe,its because they have options over there.
I don't mean to burst your bubbles but as long as DSTV is out to make profit,you can never get cheap premium channels on your mobile.What people pay 9,500 to watch,you want at 1,500?DSTV mobile might have various bouquets for you to choose from.

Not everyone is a football freak tis why there will be various packages to suit each and everyone.Whether mobile,internet or tv,there are here to make profit and if you want to watch PREMIUM channels,you have to be ready to pay good money.They did not drop $80 million for nothing combined with partnering with MTN who are shrewd business people.let's just wait and see.

I just saw this thread today. I've been researching on the best phone to buy so I can enjoy DSTVmobile. Most of the phones have small screens which I detest due to my less-than-perfect eyesight.

I've decided to go for the Nokia N97 [with it's 3.5 inch screen] even though it requires the SU-33X TV receiver.
