Former Vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, and the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari may have begged President Muhammadu Buhari to save the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki in the on-going travail.
On Friday, the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has issued a bench warrant against the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki over his refusal to appear before the tribunal for criminal trial.

The presiding Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar, ordered the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase, to arrest Saraki and present him before the tribunal on Monday. However, police said they are still waiting for the warrant to effect the arrest of the senate president.

After the order to arrest Saraki, Freedom Online learned that, a presidential source declared that while the monarchs spoke with the President, it is not clear if the former vice president had spoken with the president “because when he called, the President was busy”.

The source revealed that, ‘’All the calls were in connection with what the source described as “an embarrassment to the country, the government and the All Progressives Congress (APC)”.

The source according to Herald newspaper couldn’t confirm whether they are not calling the president too late “as he has made up his mind not to intervene in any corruption trial”.

“What they are after is a peaceful resolution of the crisis. Obviously, some forces are after Dr. Saraki because of the Senate Presidency. The moment that is resolved, every other thing may be resolved. But, the resolution of the crisis depends on the president’s mood, whether he wants to discuss the Saraki matter with anybody or not”.

The Tribunal order was issued on Friday at the opening of Saraki’s trial over allegation of corruption and false declaration of assets.
The Tribunal had summoned Saraki to appear before it, but he obtained a federal high court injunction stopping the summon and his trial.

The probe against corruption must start from APC and I'm happy it has started. So the wailing wailers will not wail,when it gets to their turn.

The PMB I know will never interfere in any corruption allegations. Not even his family members. .

Even though I even doubt the authenticity of this story, but assuming its even true;so after pleading with pmb what do they expect him to do:call d ccb and tell them to withdraw the charges;that would be the greatest mistake of his life and we all know pmb is neither foolish nor clueless.

Wen you get indicted on some charges, the best thing will be to defend it, but in Saraki's case he is dodging it. And that makes the allegations somewhat true.

The evidences against saraki are laid bare for all to see.
If you have evidences or proofs against Timi Sylvia,send it to the appropriate authorities and stop wailing.
