Former Presidential spokesperson to ex-president Jonathan, Doyin Okupe took to his Facebook page to express his fears over the current travails of the senate president Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal. Okupe in his post said it portends danger for Nigeria. What he wrote below..

To ordinary watchers of Nigerian politics, the on going ordeal of the Senate President, Dr saraki may be an interesting soap opera. But to more discerning minds it is nothing short of a tragic comedy. Over the years Nigerian politicians fail over and over again to convince anybody that they actually learnt anything from our checkered political history. This is why we have had many Republics in our national history.
Wiston Churchill said " failure to act when action would have been simple and effective, lack of good reasoning, and confusion of counsel, all these lead to endless repetition of history." I am personally not a supporter of Dr Saraki and for good reason. He spearheaded the demolition of the pdp and the eventual catastrophic electoral misfortune of the Goodluck Jonathan 's Presidency. Neither am I a detractor of the Senate President. However as a veteran politician I accept that all is fair in love and in war and as they say theend justifies the means. But what is currently going on is ominous and dangerous and will require Wisdom and extreme tact from all the dramatis personnel.

I did in the past predict that the APC will break up, but that was before the APC formed the government. Now that they are in government, it is not in my interest or that of any reasonable or patriotic Nigerian to wish that they break up. A break up of the APC now has the capacity to undermine the current political process and the entire political dispensation we are passing through to the detriment of the country and the innocent masses. As it is now, while the law must be allowed to take its course, men with less passion, and more sense on ALL sides must rise to the occasion to manage this delicate matter in the overall interest of our Nation, our democracy and our people. Remembering always that an ill wind does not blow anyone any good.

We the youths are the ones selling off our future. When it was obvious that we elect someone with contemporary ideas or better still settled for a much younger one, we decided to go following with our great grand father.

Whatever it may become of this country, we all will bear.

Apparently, Doyin Okukpe still thinks we are still stuck in the inglorious PDP era, where everything is solved on the table of politics and Ungodly compromise.

In case he has not noticed, I'd like to inform him that we are now in an era of the Rule of Law, where we openly Witch-Hunt or Stone any Criminal. The only person this will cost politically is Saraki himself and maybe his fellow Witches like Okukpe.

If this analysis by Doyin Okupe is true then I may stop calling him the bas*tard he opted for but for now I still hold him as an analyst by accident and a political gira gira. cool

you might be saying this now because all economic indices are negative, no thanks to current oil prices. but don't forget that this slide began during Jonathan's era, I wonder if the idea to empty our foreign reserves is among the contemporary ideas you are talking about.

Okupe predicted that APC will break in less than a year.

Okupe vowed that Buhari will never become Nigeria's president.

What is Okupe saying this time around? He has not said anything sensible.

There was this robbery in Central Bank of Nigeria, the robber shouted to everyone: “All don’t move, money belongs to the state, life belongs to you”.
Everyone in the bank laid down quietly.
=>This is called “Mind Changing Concept –> Changing the conventional way of thinking”.
—————————————
One lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her “Please be civilized!
This is a robbery and not a rape!”
=>This is called “Being Professional –> Focus only on what you are trained to do!”
—————————————
When the robbers got back, the younger robber (MBA trained) told the older robber
(who is only primary school educated), “Big bro, let’s count how much we got”, the older robber rebutted and said, “You very stupid, so much money, how to count? Tonight TV will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!”
=>This is called “Experience –> nowadays experience is more important than paper
qualifications!”
—————————————
After the robbers left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly.
The supervisor says “Wait, wait wait, let’s put the #5 million we embezzled into the amount the robbers robbed”.
=>This is called “Swim with the tide –> converting an unfavorable situation to your
advantage!”
—————————————
The supervisor says “It will be good if there is a robbery every month”.
=>This is called “Killing Boredom —
>Happiness is most important.”
—————————————
The next day, TV news reported that #100 million was taken from the bank. The
robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count #20 million. The
robbers were very angry and complained “We risked our lives and only took #20
million, the bank manager took #80 million with a snap of his fingers. It looks like it is
better to be educated than to be a thief!”
=>This is called “Knowledge is worth as much as gold !”
BE EDUCATED

I don't know why this man can't concentrate on the best way in reviving there dead and forgotten party instead of peddling into the the affairs of the opposite party. Nigeria shall never again be ruled by PDP. We're not going back to our vomit again.
