It is quite ridiculous for some people to think that out so-called leaders should be regarded or treated humanely at any given time, when all they are is nothing but inhuman.Left to me,the guillotine is too good for them.

Every fallen one of them is a blessing to the country, unless of course as an individual, one way or the other negatively benefits from their iniquities which makes you a collaborator. Flying him abroad is still going to cost the suffering tax payers hard earned dollars saving a traitor not a patriot. What sense does it make?

QUOTE:'President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua has approved foreign treatment for former governor of Jigawa State and serving Senator, Alhaji Saminu Turaki, who was involved in a road accident on Saturday.
Turaki was on his way from Kebbi, where he had gone for a wedding, when his SUV, a Hummer, reportedly veered off the road and somersaulted, leading to his sustaining multiple injuries and fracturing an arm.
THISDAY reported yesterday that he was at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital, Abuja.
It was gathered last night that the former governor, who is said to be in stable condition now, would be flown to an undisclosed hospital in Germany for specialist attention.
“He is talking now and can recognise people, but his arms hurts,” a source told THISDAY last night. “Graciously, the President has approved that he be taken abroad for treatment.”
Turaki had intended to travel to Singapore for treatment but the President was said to have preferred Germany because of the country’s expertise in treating accident injuries.'

Maybe the president wants him to marry another of his daughter. So Mr.President want him to be alive at all cost.

If he dies i am very sure he is not going to be missed. My only concern is the money trapped in the swiss account which only this man knows the combination

God pass all of them. if his time don reach, if they like, let them treat him inside the sea, he will still die.
we have been praying that they change for good and since they are not ready to change, we are now praying that God will come and take them so that we can have our freedom.

AMen to that. God is not apologetic to those who are hinderances of progress. This example is for the doubters whether God can do that or not ( Remember the people Isreal when they were held captive in Egypt) God Killed all the Egyptian First Born.

when the isrealites were faced with the red sea and the egyptians behind them, fear was about taking over the isrealites. moses cried unto God who in answer told him," the egyptians you see today, you shall see no more"
God can tell us the same thing the day or prayers get well into his ears. if God kill all these politicians, fear will not allow anyone to misbehave when he is serving the public.
in the olden bible days, as soon as you sin, u will recieve your reward so all these our politicians will die with foriegn currencies in their hands.

Abacha’s death did not bring justice and did not end the problem. Instead a new breed came in right away to take over. I repeat it is a coward’s way to sit back and wait for the death of his oppressor. Only gutless, spineless people do that. God has given us all brains and hands; we need to start using them. God himself made it clear that we are to punish those who break the law. Bring them to justice under his word and not sit back with arms folded waiting for him to do it all for us.

Yes, death will come to not just your oppressors but to you as well. That is a fact. In fact, it is possible that those who sit back in oppression, crying for the death of their oppressors will die first. So sitting back, crying for the death of those who you are afraid to confront makes you yet another coward and nothing more.

Please proudly wear the badge at least, rather than come on here to tell us how you are different from the million and one before you who have wished the same, most of whom are gone now while those who oppressed them are living long and strong.

@kobojunkie,
an form of complain here is cowardice but the only time complain became bravery was when you complained about the state of abia state under orji uzor kalu. pls do let me know if u have forgotten that.
in the mordern day politics and democracy, pen and papers are supposed to be doing the wonders and not physical combat. remember, they have all the weapons in the world to delete u as obj did in odi.
if we are all cowards for compalining against our leaders, you are less than a coward for compalining against us.
what have u done to prove ur bravery which u always preach here. do u know how many lives abacha's death saved in nigeria. why is it that brave men like u are not interested on the number of innocent ppl dying on our roads on daily bases. why is yar adua not flying the millions of ppl having accidents on our roads to abroad? our constitution says we are all equal so why is it that some will be flown abroad while others will die here without care? like i said, let them die on their way to abroad.your backup nuzo is in far away china waiting for us to go and die for him before he comes back as a brave man.
if any of u knows what to do in our situation, let him come and show us how to do it. we preach and practice leadership by example.
the real cowards are those that have left to speak from afar.

I see people continuing to position themselves as victims in all this when we now claim to have a democratic government. Instead of demanding our right as people, we would rather continue to sit in the corners and blame the few for all the commotion and then sit wishing them death when we could instead go out and demand they respect us. We have numbers on our side (Only that we continue to have majority who believe all is lost and their fate is better in the hands of the few), why not use that? Thousands of Nigerians die each day from hunger; thousands more die from treatable diseases, our media rarely spends time on these stories unfortunately. But watch how the death of just one of the men who we continue to allow to plunder our inheritance will get a raise out of the people.

Until we start accepting that the events of the past years have only confirmed us all cowards, we are more likely to continue to wish death on these people without moving to act to see things change.

kritikul:

I was wondering the same too,
Frankly speaking, because of the countless bad roads he left in jigawa, how many people died?tens?,hundreds, thousands?Who knows there are too much and apart from roads, how about the ill-equipped hospitals he left? The countless people who died from ill-equipped hospitals through-out the state!
If all the deaths recorded is counted i am very sure it will runs into thousands. This alone is enough for him to dieThis alone is enough for him to die,if he survives then he deserves to be executed and not only for him,to all those CORRUPT leaders. If Nigeria will not give Capital punishment to the corrupt leaders, the thieves will not stop especially after their salary was reduced by 20%,while Yar'adua is claiming that will help during this downturn it will not, what will help is to recover the Trillions of naira stolen by those corrupt  leaders, that can finance our budgets for years! As NBA said yar'adua is aiding corruption now i believe, and the "James Ibori improved" EFCC as el-rufai will say it,is still fooling us!So capital punishment is best for them, like china does!

Some people said its being cowardice to wish our corrupted leaders death rather than facing corruption charges. How many of the corrupt leaders really face real charges or is those prefrence charges whereby they return half of the money stolen with light sentences, corruption charges? Tafa Balogun & Alams 4 example!
Re: Ex-gov Turaki Involved In Accident, Very Good! by Depilot(m): 2:06pm On Apr 21, 2009
This is nothing but a signal of hopelessness and pure inculcation of childish and immature state of mind.
You do not wish anything bad upon another human being. I rather allow God, the KING of all kings to do his job. Wishing death on someone will not solve any problem in Nigeria.
Every time a corrupt leader dies another 10 young ones emerge. If wishing death upon politicians is the source of solution to our problems in Nigeria, I'm afraid that we have a very long miserable way ahead of us.
Instead of attempting to piss off God, let us promote civilization in our lives and come up with something better to bring back our country.

Ever really wonder how it is possible that 140 million people, who claim to be strong-minded, intelligent folks, can sit crying about being oppressed by a mere 1 million or less man? Does it even make sense to you that these same people can go out to claim victory everywhere else but in their own homeland??

Who said you can't wish someone dead? just like some had said that you can't speak ill of the dead. Well, men like Turaki, through their actions or inactions had wished millions of Nigerians death year after year, when people die casually from very treatable illnesses but he can affort to go to Singapore to be treated. I had always wished any Nigerian ruler that is flown abroad for treatment to return in box without their intestine.

sagamite,
reading this from u shows how reasonable u are. many of us here are posting things because they must post.
kobojunkie calls people saying their minds or saying negative things about our leaders cowardice yet he believed he can condem orji uzor kalu without been a coward.

you don't consider it wise wishing the gov death yet u can wish yar adua death. very good of u.

biblically, it is writen, those who live by sword will die by sword. if these leaders allow us to die by accidents and careless things as a result of their selfish interests, we have no option than to say back to sender. it is a natural law, wishing ppl what they wish u. it is writen, do unto others as you would want them to do to u.

mr.gov/senator sir, with much and due respect, for ur failures to live up to ur oath of office which have resulted to deaths and untold hardship to ur people. for ur contibutions in the deaths of opositions(if there is any), for your support in bringing poverty to the door steps of many, for ur contibutions in forcing ppl into illegal deals, and for all ur unknown deals that have negative impacts on ur ppl, we are all praying that as soon as you enter any international flight for treatment, let , ( pls someone help me complete the rest)

Every time a corrupt leader dies another 10 young ones among us emerge. So, what can our country gain from wishing death upon each other? I do not think politicians are totally responsible for the down fall of this nation. Each and everyone of us needs to look in the mirror.
I wish or hope that Ex gov Turaki overcomes his injuries, has time to realize what they've done to this country and repent.
@Topic, I still see this approach as a complete indication of hopelessness and pure inculcation of childish, immature and uncivilized state of mind. Sorry Pal.

I personally see your angle of thinking on, and opposition to, this as indulgent rubbish and desperation to feel superior at any cost despite your liberal, goody two shoes, holier than thou and calm wanna-be approach not ever going to achieve anything except make you feel you are civilised.

There is less chance of people like Turaki repenting by some stupid forgiveness or out of uninstigated self-reevaluation than by knowing they are widely hated due to their avarice.

Even if politicians are not totally responsible for the downfall of the nation, some of them still (along with military thieves) bare most of the responsibility as they control the nations affair and have the powers to make changes through their influence and ability to set up and execute laws. The slowpoke Turaki was Governor for EIGHT years but yet, their is no hospital in his state that can treat broken bones but yet he is driving a Hummer?

I wish Turaki sustains significant injuries, losing body functions, from the accident but that he does not die. And when he returns from Singapore using our money, on his way home he is waylaid by armed robbers in his flash jeeps and Hummer motorcades and injured severely again to completely demoralise him and let him head back for further treatments but the attack should result in the medical team not being able to save his kidneys from bullet wounds and he has to live the rest of his life in dialysis.

And when he comes back from that, he should face the law of the land for his looting, where it results in the loot being recovered and he is left poor as he never worked for or earned money and he is also jailed for his crime against the Jigawa people.

That is my dream and wishes, may it come true.

Definitely, this is not how wise men solve problems and it is also impossible for any nation to be productive with this type of poor mentality.
There is a better and more intellectual manner to approach our problems in Nigeria.
If this is the best you can come up with, may be you should extend your dream and wishes by also start promoting death upon your entire village, because our nation from the top to the bottom is corrupt and not just the politicians.

Abacha’s death did not bring justice and did not end the problem.

was it not because abacha died that obj and ribadu were able to recover some of his loots. if ibb had died, the possibilities of recovering his own loots could have been there.

pls gov die in singapore so that we will go after ur weak family for recovery.

leaders have slight headache, they will be flown to america while many of us are languishing in ghetos they call hospitals here.

did God not kill all the first sons of the egyptians when they refused to let the isrealites to go. did the same God not allow the egyptian soldiers to die alongside their horses in the red sea when they were going after the isrealites.

God pls in the same manner, come and visit all our leaders who have refused to let us enjoy all the good things of life which u have made available to us. the bible says, suffer not a wicth to live. please all the witches on our ways die in the name of Jesus - Amen.

if 1 dies, let 50 come, God pass them in their numbers.

the sin of the fathers will be visited on their sons and great grand children. if any of us here is involved directly or indirectly, confess or soon we will equally be wishing u death.

I will not be surprised if the Ex governor lives longer than some of the people here wishing death upon him. It is ok to be upset about how things are being operated by politicians in Nigeria, but it is also important for us to think and approach things prudently.
There are other better ways to solve our problems.

Wise men don't dismiss propositions and not offer screened alternatives like you just did. They don't say there is a better or more intellectual manner to approach without highlighting what this is.
