A teenage boy (names withheld) was today electrocuted to death in Otukpo, Benue State. BENUE.COM.NG gathered that the sad incident occurred at about 7.30am around Vanapo Hotel, in the ancient town. As the victim and two others were riding on a motorcycle to an Abattoir, they got stuck in a small collection of water on the road, close to an electric pole that was poorly insulated. The victim then fell off the bike into the water and was immediately shocked to death while the other two escaped unharmed. The survivors then alerted neighbours who informed the police and with help from the Power Holding Company, were able to collect the remains of the electrocuted teenager to the mortuary.
