Well you're a guy so I promise you, you'll love it. Very violent and the cinematography is fantastic. I try not to suggest it to most girls or senseitive people because there's a scene there that bothers people deeply but that's the kind of movies I like so oh well, I like my movies bloody.

Tell me your thoughts when you're done! Shame you have to watch it on a computer though,

watched city of gods. thats not violent!!!! to me it was another gangstas flick, albeit brasilian style. what scene bothers pple? when lil Dice kill those people in the brothel? or when lil Dice gave the gun to the kid to kill another? or perhaps when shaggy was killed? any it was good i liked it.

I personally found it better than most gangster movies, esp the overrated ScarFace anyway Im glad you liked it

The scene that bother most people(mostly girls) was where Steak n Fries had to shoot that 5 yr old in the leg and then the other one was shot in the head, I remember thinking that was so bleeped up but that's whaty I loved about the movie, so real, didnt try to sugarcoat anything.

Carandiru is another good Brazilian flick, takes place in a prison.

i beg to disagree about scarface. i like the movie though. going to have a look at Carandiru.

yea most guys tend to disagree with me on ScarFace, whatever. I think it's vastly overrated.

Rather watch GoodFellas or Godfather 1 on repeat.
