They say idle minds are the devil's workshop. When posters are thinking of how to solve Nigeria's problems and brush off the recession, some people are talking about what type of wedding ring they prefer when there is no money to even buy a knock off engagement ring for them!

No wonder Nigeria hasnt progressed with busy bodies like these mouthing off at irrelevant things like this. . .Pssfff!

guys, The colour of the ring gold, silva or bronze is not the issue, but the trust, love,respect and affectionate you have for each other. ring is the mentality of white man, is part of there culture. ring is one of the u that makes there weding culture unique.
Before the advent of colonialism, we have our own unique way of doing marriage without the use of ring which are still remain ever green in the heart of diasporal africans, because we believe that the sexual intercourse that followed at the night of marriage have certified the convent we make in the presence of dignitaries present at the occassion.pls, note that when you have sex with a lady,you release your spermatozoa in her virgina which you are non verbeally communicating that that place belong to you which she accept by absurbing the sperm in herself, as a result you have an offspring that carry individual qualities of his/her parent.

spikedcylinder you must be joking. ahhhhhhhhhh you are some how funny. maybe your own ethnic group are met naked when the europeans came, but not the proto and non-proto yorubas. the yorubas are met wearing there own materials e.g dansiki, aso ofi,etu e.t.c even there are terracotas that shows that then alafin do wear gold rings in the neck, hands, and legs for fashion and not for weding purpose.

So according to you now, only men should wear rings?

most of these ladies saying platinium gold, white gold, silver etc, have not even seen one. It only exist in their imaginations. Trust ladies now, they dream alot after reading Hadley Chase.
