Well, if you want a career in academics or research, then masters is the way but if not, just take the job. PS: if you finally choose to go for the masters, please don't come back to Naija without a PhD. 1 Like |

All these people wey don chop belleful with their "mumu" choices... If I can't get a job after 6 years in primary school, 6 years in secondary school and 6 years in the University, Is it a 2 year Msc that will help? If I try to say more than this, my frustration will take over my tongue. 6 Likes |

nigerians and masters and yet not one thing is manufactured in the country. you better get rid of your white man or is it black man mentality. i have been to canada and it is a land of hardship and coldness and high tax. you better take that job and remain in nigeria where you are a first class citizen. you have been warned. the other side is never greener. it looks greener but it is not 8 Likes |

If the Job is relevant to your career line.. Take the job and work it for 2 to 4 years and them go do your Masters or even do the Masters online. Experience always beats a Master degree all day. 2 Likes |

I would have advised him to take the job if it were for anyother country, but since its in Canada. The job can wait. I have friends in a lot of countries and I know Canada is a good deal especially if you are a professional, young and intelligent. |

Get your MSc and while you're at it, get your PhD. If you get into research and get really good at what you do, 180k per day will seem like an insult. I teach in a Nigerian university by the way. |

Work for 2 years, the take a study leave and go for your Masters. Masters will always be there, but job will not always be there. Masters doesn't guarantee you a job. Be wise, choose job over masters for now. 2 Likes |
