Listening to the Army guest being interviewed on channels Tv this morning, you would not but come to the conclusion that northerners, especially the fulanis are the golden children of Nigeria.

Concerning the falae kidnap, even when the victim himself concurred interviewed witnesses that Fulani herdsmen actually kidnapped the honourable stattesman, the army leadership have still not believed this. Instead they were calling for a psychological examination of falae.

When Fulani herdsmen kill people in benue and kogi state, they term it cattle rustlers.

How many of these Fulani herdsmen have ever being arrested and charged to court?

But everyday, these same army keep raiding innocent communities in the south claiming they are flushing out Militants.

I say, The Southerners should ban herdsmen from ever entering southern lands. they bring nothing But pain with them.

#Saynotofulaniherdmen

Happy Independence Day.

Don't put SW in that mix. They are life long allies of the north so they can reap oil money and rent from tenants in Lagos

Actually, SE started the alienation with the North. Remember Azikiwe?

The south is one....should be one.

Nonsense. You and who are one? SW must align and continue to align with North as perpetual slaves. We in SE and SS can never ever accept SW in the core South. Very treacherous, jealous and backstabbing people!

Don't try to re-write history because you are too late. The SW is ON THEIR OWN. Since the last election they have been exposed for a record time as being untrustworthy and antiSouth. So beg, let fulani keep kidnapping and slapping them. The East/Midwest is one and we don't need SW.

and yet you, and many fellow igbo brothers would def vote an hausa fulani as a president in 3 years time?

forget this tribalism shiit, my brother. it's just an elitist scheme to forever keep us under. I bet you it's part of the instrument the fulani elites use to divide the south so that it would be easier for them to remain perpetually powerful.

Stop spreading falsehood! Zik's coalition (and not betrayal as you mischievously termed it) with North was after Awo's trick.

Zik's NCNC party won the election in Lagos/SW but Awo used ethnic sentiment to get Zik's position.
Many NCNC members of Yoruba extraction cross-carpeted to AG and the rest is history.
The era marked the beginning of Tribalism in Politics and it still persists, with Yorubas and Northerners voting along tribal lines for decades now...

That in 2011, Ngige of ACN (Yoruba party) could defeat the Nafdac heroine, Dora of APGA (Igbo party) in this your generation and dispensation can attest to the liberal nature of the Igbos.

When will APGA win gubernatorial elections in SW?

Did Azikiwe betray Awolowo by starving millions of Yorubas to death, and seizing whatever money they had in exchange for twenty pounds?

Anyway, those you referred to, as "THE NEW GENERATION", also voted against a southern president in preference of a fulani herdsmen supporter and an anti-restructuring agent on the 28th march 2015.

Igbos have been building bridges and ties, and reaching out to other people before 1960. Such that the likes of Zik and Ojukwu were bred in the North. Ojukwu's father had a business empire in Lagos and was one of the top richest in Africa. However, such liberal disposition has proven to be an exercise in futility.

Just at the outset of PMB administration your folks and their cohorts rained unceasing abuses on Igbo leaders for daring to congratulate and pledge support to PMB.

What then do you mean by secluding yourself?

Do your people exhibit more 'Nigerianness' than Igbos who permeate almost every nook and cranny of Nigeria, peacefully building and establishing business empires, and growing the economy of the locals and that of the country, and some of them even getting married to the locals?

Do well to reserve your pity for your greedy, selfish, tribalistic folks who rarely appreciate the good in other people.

Zik alliance with the North is a fact writing in gold as per Nigerian history, people should stop twisting facts due to sentiments; the did have been done and the way forward should be what is next but if I may ask;

1. Why is it that the Yorubas have mostly been opposition until recently while the Igbos have always voted along the same line with the North?

2.What happened to Apga that Chief Ojukwu help found?

3.Why is PDP a party that consists many of Igbo states Zoning their party presidential candidate slot to the North if they haven't been Allies?

Every fact since 1959 till date points to this but note that for Igbos to get one of them to be President outside Biafra they have to believe in APGA and also work extensively with other tribes.

Do note that you have 2 great sons that can easily get votes from outside your region if they emerge as presidential candidates of any major parties; their names are Ngige & Okorocha, they don't play tribal politics and as such they have lots of non Igbo followers.

Common word 'betray'you don't even know the meaning. Is Awolowo and Zik in the same party that any issue of betrayal comes to play? As an opposing party man, is it Awolowo's prerogative to make life easy for Zik and NCNC anywhere in the country. Is Awolowo supposed to teach Zik how to keep his party members loyal to NCNC and not join other parties of their choice if it ever happened that they decamped?

The several other minority parties e.g Ibadan people's party, that won seats but choose to team up with AG and not NCNC to form the government also betrayed Zik because they are all his children or pupils abi? Was teaming with other parties to form the government illegal by the rules of the time? Why didn't Zik Approach the courts if there was any foul play or infraction to the subsisting law.

So Zik who years earlier declared God had made Ibo children to rule over Africa was coming to Ibadan to actualize that nightmare and 60 years after Ibo descendants still fail to see the stupidity of that attempt. Of all the peoples originating from the Western region and members of Zik's NCNC he didn't find anyone capable and acceptable to the people he wants to lead except himself? There was Adeniran Ogunsanya and TOS Benson

Why didn't Zik follow through with the funny game he was playing and leave Eyo Ita to run the government in Enugu and not kick him out? And he did that to someone tracing his origin within Zik's own region

The Yorubas are found all over the country and all over the world, yet you never hear of them being slaughtered or breeding ill will against their host the way Ibos are known to do. They are huge Yoruba communities in all West African countries who are truly integrated therein and never snide at their host.

Before Ibos came Yoruba lived all over the Northern part of the country and there were no pogroms. It shows people who are well brought up and diplomatic. The Ibos came with their uncultured brashness and attempt to dominate and take over other people's property thoughtlessly and call it competition. Many will loot the property of the locals to increase their own value and call it success. They laugh at the misfortune of locals and call them stupid and behave as the overlords and they expect all to cower and marvel.
