while i was trying to wrap my mind around the recent kidnap of olu falae by the so called fulani herdsmen few questions came to me
* how come the first case of kidnap for ransom by the fulani herdsmen was a high profile one?
*are they known for kidnapping for ransom or killing and maiming?
*were there any low profile cases before his own?
*of all the successful kidnap cases i never heard of where the victims was able to identify the tribe of their abductors
*if it was a game maybe he was unknowingly part of it?
*and finally how come it came at the time when the north and southwest successfully dethroned PDP at the presidency?
my conclusion is if the alleged kidnap by the fulani herdsmen was politically motivated it won't certainly be the last.

Why not pdp? don't be naive and parochial pdp is a very desperate party they can do anything to regain power come 2019. We know about the fulani herdsmen escapades but i smell rat here and i stand to corrected. How come it was that fani kayode that raced to comment knowing fully well that he's pdp first and a yoruba second

@OP:
I quite agree, because the modus operandi of the Fulanis includes everything mentioned EXCEPT KIDNAPPING, I strongly believe that there is more to this story than meets the eye and that in time things will unravel.

There are more in the ever growing criminal community better adept at kidnapping who could have easily committed the crime while pretending to be Fulani herdsmen - just to fool the victim so as to cover their identity.

So it's safe to say that APC have been behind boko haram just to get power back and also all the kidnappings n killings done in Nigeria in the last 10 year'swas done by them.

In fact all bad things that happened in nigeria in the last many years was done by APC.

■ Women raped, farmers sacked, crops destroyed ■ Homes invaded, natives kidnapped ■ Community threatens reprisal if…

BY PAUL OSUYI

Suddenly, anxiety crept into Ibu sa. The once jolly, agrarian but densely populated community in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State is now under the siege of committed bandits. The natives say these brigands are Fulani herdsmen who plague them like pestilence. Originally, according to the people, the strangers were peaceful and went about their normal grazing of their cattle, without harm to them and their property, especially their farm lands. But today, these once-harmless individuals have become terrors to the community and everything that belongs to the indigenes.

The herdsmen now attack farmers and hunters in the bushes that surround the community, dispossessing them of their belong ings, destroying crops and raping their women and young girls. Besides, they are accused of being masterminds of series of highway rob beries on the Benin-Asaba expressway, Asaba- Ibusa, Ogwashi-Uku-Ibusa road and Azagba- Ogwashi-Uku road. Earlier in the year, two luxury buses with passengers coming from the eastern part of the country were diverted into the bushes on the Benin-Asaba expressway by bandits. They were said to have robbed the passengers and raped females among them. Victims of this unfortunate incident said their attackers were of the Fulani stock.

And it would appear that they have taken their activities to some notorious heights. A victim, who fears to be mentioned, said these assailants had promised the community that their (herdsmen) would resort to meeting na tives in their houses and kidnapping them. And true to type, kidnapping has become almost an everyday occurrence. They are now making good that promise –invading private homes and kidnapping residents for ransom.

Their actions in the past two months have raised speculations that the herdsmen are extension of the deadlyBoko Haram sect operating in the northern part of the country.

Yoruba why ? Why disgrace urselves this way ? So ur kidnapped chief who confirmed their identity no do una, u still dey find identities and motives when it is on record dat he has been clashing with these herdsmen on his farms. Keep waiting for revelations while they achieve their major aim of invading, occupying and establishing caliphates.

Dem de kidnap chiefs to see weda yorubas got guts, as e dey b now, na to dey sack mere villagers dem go turn to and probably all of una go run go crowd lag leave una villages for them.

No stand n fight off ur enemy, dey there dey ask why ur enemy come fight u. Abi when una enter political agreement against Igbos, una enter agreement to have fulanis quench their conquer desire ?

Half of yorubas now na islam, soon the will of Allah for Swest na to establish caliphates for him there, then wetin fulani herdsmen no do, islam clerics go complete.

Dey de find how Igbo take enter d kidnapping. Slaves
