NA Bombardment In SW,FACTS and the position of the igbos. by Thewrath(m): 10:41am On Jul 31, 2016
Firstly,as usual,I am responsible for how I write and not how you understand or interpret.

Why are there no pics yet?
We all know the Nigerian army and pictures are like bread and butter, they have pictures of killed boko haram terrorists, the Shiite Muslims killed during during protest and more.so why are there no pictures yet of the 114 and over another 100 militants killed during the air strikes?

There is only one possible reason I can think of why there are no pictures yet:
-it's obvious(in Emmanuella's voice)that Nigeria army have as usual gone to kill/displace innocent yorubas and other inhabitants of these communities, and are ashamed to upload pics.i know civilians always get caught in crossfires, but in a professional operation, the damage on innocent civilians are minimal, maybe a few deaths but certainly not the majority.but I can't say thesame for our NA.

Misconceptions of yoruba youths:
I actually do not support the activities of the militants, but I read online how these set of people boast/beat their chest about how they will deal with the militants, maybe because there is a mere commissioner assisting buhari or that a yoruba general ordered the air strikes or that they voted for change....make no mistake, buhari will not bait an eyelid to turn Lagos into a war zone as long as oil is involved, not even even osibanjo,or your obas can or will be able to do anything about it.my advice is pray and hope the militants give up,stop beating your chest, your people are dying.

The position of the igbos
This particular is just funny,I don't know about the opinion if my brothers in SE,but I will attempt speak for myself and others in SS.
Firstly:
-Whose land is the battlefield-yoruba's
-Whose land is being polluted-yoruba's
-Whose people are being killed/displaced-yorubas.
-Who is going to suffer military presence/intimidation-yorubas.
-Whose economic activities will be crumbled-yorubas.
-Who would be used as target practice-yorubas.
are the militants igbos-No
are the helicopters,guns,pipelines,igbos?-No
And many many more....

So why in the midst of crisis in your own land, you still find a way to drag the igbos in,they have absolutely nothing to loose...it's a win-win for the igbos, the average Igboman does not give a hoot what happens outside igboland,he may still not care even if it happens in igboland but doesn't affect his business.
so why will the igbos be pained/worried that you are fighting militancy when they have a much bigger problem to deal with.

When you guyz were rejoicing during the killing of unarmed biafra protesters,I bet you did not know a day like this will come when your supposed peaceful land will be turned into a war zone.well you shouldn't be surprised when others return the favour.
I advice you focus on getting rid of these militants and leave the igbos out of your miseries.

For the records, I'm only a south westerner by residence. But being on ground here gives me an advantage (probably unfair) of seeing things from varying perspectives.

The average south westerner, though tribalistic, is reasonable enough to see that what must be done must be done. These so called militants have terrorised so badly that they are actually happy with the current military operations.

As regards collateral damage, its inevitable. We hope the military will keep it minimal and so far, there has been no report suggesting otherwise.

Now from me to you, if we must succeed, we must learn to shed our tribal and religious prejudice. You might want to argue that a lot of people show the same bias towards your people but two wrongs never made a right. I deduce from your post that you're an intellectual and if Nigeria will benefit you and I and our future generations, the onus is on us to try to lead our blind.

You are correct to an extent, but there are no pictures of the supposedly killed militants yet.
Secondly the misguided SW youths keep calling the igbos into what does not concern them, hence the need to put things right.

I have a question for the Op.
Do u live around Arepo and Ikorodu?

I have many friends and relatives in that area and and I visited the area about 3 weeks ago.
Now, up till now none has called me to corroborate any news of military killing innocent inhabitants of that area whether intentionally or unintentionally.
Right now, most people there are strictly indoor and movement as been restricted.

Which makes me to ponder on the bases of ur post. I mean, we that have everything to lose are not bothered, in fact, we encouraged it.
So why should you? Believe me, if there's any extrajudicial killing people there will know.

If this was meant to spite the West, sorry, you've failed-and woefully too.
We're just too civilized for that.

Keep your mouth shut.

Where were you when those wrapper tying bastar.ds calling themselves Ijaw militants were terrorising people from all ethnicities.

Ijaw militants are the ones NA is killing and they should wipe them off from the surface of the earth forever.

The question remains why are the Ugandans and red mudsters pained that Nigerian Army is decimating their Ijaw masters?

The NA I know always provides pictures, they are waiting for when they will kill the real militants before we start seeing pictures, your friends won't have access to the war zones as those will now be restricted areas..
Lastly, warn your brothers never to call igbos in their misery, because you all brought these upon yourselves.

Ugandans met their Waterloo at Ore and the Ijaws are also meeting theirs in SW. They were warned and they have now seen the repercussion.

It is either you keep quiet and keep watching how your masters are being decimated OR you can join them and you will be decimated alongside too.

You know they are misguided. The best thing to do would be to provide guidance and not to engage them in a "potopoto" e-fight. You know the adage that goes "If a mad man steals your clothes while you're taking your bath...."

From experience, I know a majority of south westerners and in fact, Nigerians generally are lovely people. Only a dumb minority come to the internet to misrepresent their people. Just yesterday, a friend posted a lovely message to her friends from Adamawa state. In her own words, they are the most hospitable people she has ever met. She met them during NYSC. A brother of. mine served in Anambra state. Told me of how the indigenes would go out of their way to make strangers comfortable. My own story is set in Benue state. They made NYSC the most beautiful one year of my life till date. I don't know where your story is set but I'm sure its similar.

So you see, the misguided elements you see up here don't represent the majority. No doubt, there are sickos but they are in every tribe. Spread the love bro. our future generations would be grateful you did.
