Hmm..
Musa ain't qualified to be a captain.
Oliseh erred.
Enyeama should learn not to confront his Boss even if he earns more than him.

Oliseh is an hediot, the thing is 'paining" specially, who does he think he is? Did he expect Enyeama to not attend his mum's funeral or what?

We dey talk say team don dey die make we build am up, this one wants to tear it apart kpatakpata.angry

kenonze:

Quoting a source within the team’s camp in Belgium, Completesportsnigeria.com reports that the clash started when, while holding a meeting with the players after their evening training session which Enyeama attended but did not participate in, Oliseh mentioned Ahmed Musa as the team captain.

Enyeama was said to have rudely interrupted the coach’s speech at this point, the Lille keeper insisting that he was the captain, not Musa.

This interruption apparently riled Oliseh, who ordered Enyeama to let him (Oliseh) address his players in peace. But Enyeama continued talking, raising his voice at the coach.

When Oliseh could not take it anymore, he ordered that Enyeama leave the venue of the meeting as he felt the keeper was undermining his (Oliseh’s) authority. When Enyeama refused to leave, Oliseh asked for the goalkeeper to be forcibly removed from the Verviers Hotel camp by security men.

I agree. Enyeama and his fan club need to calm down. The coach always has the authority move roles as it suits his style of management. It's sad that this is causing discord.
Oliseh has my support. Super Eagles will qualify!
No need supporting either of them until we hear what exactly happened.
The different accounts we are hearing do not tally.

First off, I want all Nigerians to forget about qualifying for AFCON 2017, it won't happen with this rift.

Oliseh was wrong on all counts in this rift. The last player you should ever attack is the pillar of the team, the head capo, ask Didier Deschamps what Anelka did to him. Why pick on Enyeama? Enyeama has loyalists in that team that can and will rebel against Oliseh until he loses that job and they prove he was never meant to be a coach. Oliseh is displaying an arrogance he hasn't earned considering he's won nothing of note as SE coach.

And making Musa captain? Who will take orders from Musa? Is it Mikel, Emenike or the ousted Enyeama? Does Musa look like a leader? Apart from his scrawny nature, how old is he? Someone who can't even speak up when he's wronged, how will he speak on behalf of his team mates?

The only place Oliseh's myopic decisions will take he and that team is down. I just want him out ASAP cuz he's apparently not The Chosen One to bring sanity to our football.

Until the chosen one comes, we make do with who we have!

Unless we do not want to qualify for the world cup!

Enyeama is fond of holding managers to ransom!

And what is wrong with Ahmed Musa? He is arguably Nigeria's best performing player now?

I know you're making references to @guysly2much's comments on twitter......

But actually, Oliseh have come out to confirm Musa as his permanent captain. Check out Africanfootball.com for this.

Leave @guysly2much.... He can be quite hasty with information. #seriously.

I hate ppl jumping into conclusion without proper thinking... Did oliseh say Musa will b d permanent Captain... He just make him the captain for the friendly match against Belgium... Y er u ppl talking like an amateur... Anybody can b d captain so far its a friendly match. Morever u can't conclude now until When he make him a captain in an international competition like Nations cup.#

This set of super eagles players that played for this country during westerhof created mafiarism in the national team and they used it to bring down any coach that refused to dance to the tune of the head mafian, now they don't want it to exist again. Meanwhile, do we still have SUPER EAGLES? i just dey ask ooo because for sometime now i no no say we get anything like senior national team.

My dear Oliseh shouldnt ve just announced Musa as captain in front of Enyema and d other players dat way! It's downright disrespectful, without even consulting d players or having it out with Enyema my broda respect is reciprocal

I understand your point! Enyeama should be treated with respect. But hear the other side of the story to draw conclusions! That one is a General doesn't mean he will given a general's honour if he plans an unsuccessful coup d'etat.
Nigerians are never patient. Just a couple of bad results and you would see how we would ask for Oliseh's head. Carl was in goal against Tanzanian and did very well, that isn't enough reason for Oliseh to rubbish Enyeama. Is it not too soon for Oliseh to think Carl was the right replacement for Enyeama?

If I were Oliseh, I would allow Enyeama keeps his captaincy for these two friendly matches and subsequently, I won't invite him henceforth since Ahmed Musa is now the preferred choice for the captaincy. Not getting invite again would send the right signal to Enyeama that his time with the Eagles is over.

Oliseh's sack is imminent and would be very soon. Besides, Oliseh was a bad captain during his playing days and was rumoured to be part of the alleged mafia in the team.

Of course, as men we do not have power over the things that happen to us but we have absolute authority over the way that we react to the things that happen to us.

Enyeama's reaction is a total disappointment. I used to see him as a mature and humble chap, but he's clearly not close.

And in case you don't know, everywhere in the world when it comes to footballing matters the manager is the boss

And for all of you scolding Oliseh, Thiago Silva was not informed by Dunga when Neymar became captain. Rather, he heard it on the news like everyone else. And yet Silva still turns up and plays with all commitment. That's an humble and mature chap who values representing his country over perpetuating his own ego.

i guess you know Musa PERSONALLY. The way Nigerians talk sometimes, see as dis fool is talking as if he is SE camp member. Change is good sometimes. See what the status quo has gotten SE??nothing!!!. A radical change is good in any successful endeavor. Am not even really approving what Oliseh did though but only God and time can tell the outcome. So relax yourself!

Well, nothing's really wrong Sir. Musa is a fine player that can come up with crucial goals sometimes..... BUT

He's not "OUR BEST PLAYER".

He's not "THE PLAYER THAT CAN BE LOOKED UP TO FOR INSPIRATION IN BIG MATCHES"

He's not "THE PLAYER THAT WILL MOTIVATE OTHERS TO DO MORE ON THE PITCH"

Sir, don't get me wrong, I can go with Musa as captain. But let truth be told...... Musa is not the kind of player that will strike fear and respect into our opponents..... But I give Musa this: SOMETIMES, LIKE IN THE GAME AGAINST ARGENTINA AT THE LAST FIFA WC, HE CAN POP UP WITH CRUCIAL GOALS WHEN IN HIS ELEMENTS.

Any body saying that dust was not raised when Tiago silva and Javier Mascherano were stripped of captaincy, FORGET CERTAIN IMPORTANT DETAILS.

In Tiago's case, Neymar was made new captain. AND THAT WAS SPOT ON. WHY? ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS:
-who's the best player in the brazil squad?
-who's the player that all others in the squad look up to for inspiration?
-who's the player that lifts the selacao when standing on the brink of defeat?
-who's the player in the brazil squad that strikes fear and respect into other opponents?

WE ALL KNOW THE ANSWER IS "NEYMAR".

In Masherano's case with the argentine squad, Lionel Messi was made captain.

*APPLY THE SAME QUESTIONS TO ARGENTINA AND MESSI IS YOUR ANSWER*

SO I ASK, IS MUSA THIS KIND OF PLAYER IN THE SUPER EAGLES?

LOOK, I got no qualms seeing Musa as captain..... BUT TRUTH CANNOT BE IGNORED.

you guys are forgetting that Oliseh is an employee that has an employer, did Oliseh consult the nff before he took his decision to eject Enyeama, Enyeama is even right fighting for mikel to captain as he is senior to musa, even the nff knows that. Oliseh was trying to play God by taking some decisions that needed consultations with his employers before taking action, this was one of the issues nff had with keshi and here Oliseh who criticised Keshi then is already towing the same path. This was why nff overuled Oliseh cos they know he goofed on that one. Oliseh should have consulted with the nff on the captain issue especially when Enyeama and Mikel were in camp. Nothing is wrong with Musa becoming captain but Oliseh forgot that the National team is a National asset owned by all nigerians.

Oliseh is wrong please

No you are wrong. The coach has the sole right to select his captain. Musa was the captain in Tanzania and Niger game. The coach wanted him to be same for the congo game. Who is Enyeama to tell him who the captain should be. Was Mikel complaining Hell No. Was Elderson complaining?? Hell no, these 2 are senior to Musa in the team. Enyeama is wrong, lets call a spade a spade. The coach never said Enyeama is no longer the captain. Naija is too big for him, he can as well retire from SE who cares, others will step in and the merry go round continues. Mtcheeew.
