This nonsense you wrote can only make sense to an ignorant person like you, the time I spend here has opened my eyes to the reality that very few Nigerians understand how this country works.
The very few who denied themselves knowledge are still not ashamed to throw around buffoonery with pride, of what use is your Geography if it did not outline the limitations of PH port?

A m0r0n like Nnamdi Kanu is yet to tell his minions that Biafra is land locked, perhaps they are still hoping to dredge the River Niger beyond shallow waters, shouldn't it be more worrisome that a lunatic like that man is taken seriously because the country is packed with empty hollow heads roaming the four cardinal points of destitution in this country.

Why do you think that oil companies allow only offshore going vessels to berth at onne, while all the oil they extract from the Niger delta are routed to be sold through Bonny?
Has any of these ethnic lunatics ever seen a serious oil Tanker in any jetty in and around Abuloma or reclamation? why are they everywhere in Eket and Bonny but not PH?

If oil companies avoid it and importers avoid it as well, the least shred of common sense should tell you that something beyond ethnicity or Government inefficiency is amiss, some of you don't deserve a brain.
BTW those who understand the limitations and have real need do clear from there, the school drop outs can continue whining all over the internet.

Per the bolded, when did land locked or not land locked become a criterion for a country seeking independence? Sometimes Nigerians tend to overemphasize ignorance.

When i said "functional" the average reader could very easily know what i meant. I've worked in Bonny, Kolo creek, PH, Oporoma, etc and I know PH port like Warri port are having low activies.
There's nothing stopping the FG from dredging the port in PH and make it suitable for larger ships. Afterall, that was the port that served the British in eastern Nigeria.

Your oga at the top might have told you sweet garbage as to why ports in eastern nigeria dont function well -— even calabar port which is well suitable for export and import and you're spreading falsehood. Working in a shiping line gives you no authority on classified facts about the politics of Nigeria.

There have been pirate activities along lagos waterways.

It actually was during and after the civil war that all the ports and international airport in the east were discouraged from functioning in their original capacity for fear of weapon smuggling. Unfortunately the ghost of that policy still lingers several decades after.

And no government has reasoned beyond her anus to realize Nigeria is losing billions having just one major port.
The mother of all shame is that we even lose to Benin port.
The black man has proven to be his own worst enemy, never seeing beyond the scope of tribalism.

There are so many facts: even the steel plant that the British sited in the east because of the availability of iron in orji river axis. and coal in Enugu was moved to Aladja in delta state. Despite all the billions sunk into it , it failed to live.

These are few ills of the tribal military regimes that failed to diversify Nigeria's economy and locations.

Per the bolded, you could not be more correct. Besides tribalism, Nigeria has a problem deeply rooted in ill-educated masses.

ibaka port is not 18m. The far dept of gulf of Guinea is around 17 to 24m which it reduces as it tends to near the port. Some other areas in Lagos is as deep as 23m from the coast. The port location is totally different from the anchorage which might be as deep as 18m. From my little studies ibaka sea port will needed dredging before it can attain depth of 13m to 15m. All you read in that piece of document was to facilitate for the development and construction of the port which has never reach 10percent and we were told operation will start this year.

The south south deserves a functional seaport as there are no cogent reasons why there shouldn't be a viable sea port in the south south

It actually is not silly. All the oil companies locations are protected by heavily armed personnel funded by the said companies. I don't think the average importer can afford to pay for such escorts.

See the hypocrisy we have been talking about. You can provide security for the companies to drill their oil but you can't provide security for the land to develop

And the federal government cannot stop them from collecting this money?

Yoruba omole boys also collect money from people why is the port there still operating.

Don't mind the idot. A land locked biafra will be better than the shithole we are now trust me

PS biafra is not landlocked at all. Biafra isn't made up of the five eastern states alone...

The oil companies have millions of dollars to spend. And even for them the insecurity has become intolerable. Shell has left Warri. It is gradually winding up and selling off its operations in the Swamp and on land in Port Harcourt and its environs.

Yes o .....so that Nnamdi Kanu will start shouting once again that Buhari has bombed all the communities along the waterways grin grin grin
Why didn't Goodluck their brother stop them from collecting this money?

Come to think of it, why must it be the Federal Govt? Let the Governors make their states conducive for commerce na? Afterall those boys in the waterways and creeks are all their boys

So nnamdi kanu is now a reason why there is no sea port in the east? Why don't the fg try and install a vibrant seaport there and see their reaction. The ss people are the most peaceful people in Nigeria. The only reason there is violence in the ss is because there is serious neglect of the people and their land. Have you seen Ogoni lately? These people are the financial power house of this nation but they are being marginalized..

Let the fg take bold steps to address the developmental issues in their land and sEe if an one would carr arms in that zone.

I am sure you watched how amnesty quelled the war in that region during the yaradua era..

So moving from a coastal country to a land locked one is promotion I guess?
An independent country with majority of her citizens as importers? with a market share of continental proportion?
you undermine how badly your thought process has failed you.

You ended up barking like a rabid dog which you are without addressing the questions i asked which were devoid of any form of insult but your self appropriated deluded minister of seaport affairs ended up ranting brainlessly to the point i started wondering if this is a new form of unclassified type of stupidity.

If the crap you wrote up there is your response to my unambiguous questions then i make bold to say that you are daft and nothing but a tout.

If you are incapable of addressing issues with verifiable facts and decorum in a public forum then you are a high ranking tout.

what has Kanu or Biafra gotten to do with you addressing why a seaport is under utilize?

You were taught in geography that the PH seaport should be under utilized right? CLOWN!

can you see the level of your stupidity?

I am not gonna dignify an e-clown like you with any further response because u are so disgusting and highly repugnant.
If the crap you wrote up there is what you have been parading about as been knowledgeable with the workings of Nigeria then you are the C-in-C of all fools in the entire universe.

Go back and address the issues i raised in a more saner manner that is if you have any left over form of rationality in you or better still, you can shop for some.

Self deluded fool showcasing his foolery and even flaunting it as knowledge. [/b]

Go back to secondary school, pick up elementary Geography of Nigeria, the dumb answers you seek lie there olodo!!.

Shell is Gone in the creeks, they have only few Gas infrastructures, why do you think the militants are not in a hurry to go back to the creeks?
The SS does not deserve anything for now till they flush out wowowo from their mindset, businesses don't thrive on communal toutism

Your claim is very wrong.

1) Nobody laid embargo on the Eastern Ports for the fear of arms smuggling.

Boko Haram has no access to any port, yet they are able to smuggle in sophisticated weapons.

2) Nigeria is a very corrupt country, thousands of weapons are smuggling in through Apapa and TinCan Seaports as well as several land crossing all over Nigeria.

3) Calabar port is very shallow and Port Harcourt port is still operational.

My father used to clear his imported goods from Sapele ports in the late 70s before the Nigerian Navy took over Sapele port

4) Lagos ports are built in the Lagos LAGOON but the Port at P/Harcourt (which strictly speaking, is NOT by the sea) is built in a DELTA.

Port Harcourt has no SEA but is situated by the Bonny River ( the maim arm of the River Niger) which move about 30 miles south before emptying into the Atlantic Ocean.
