lol.... Did I tell you my engine and gear is bad? So because I am selling. It means it's a dead car.

You play god on Nairaland. You feel everybody should be on your side. If you have different opinion different from Gazzus then you are a hater.

Now people know the truth. Do I need to blow the whistle on how much you collect from the poor guy for repairs on the dead Kia Rio you helped him to inspect?

Same you that told him he need to replace the gear. Later told him there is no need and you continue to milk him till he got fed up. Shame of yoù.

Any man taking advantage of other people can go far in terms of wealth o but they dont end well.

Please am interested in knowing this as am enjoying know the history of this car :d

I know how you feel bro wink you wish you had my job grin

Iv lined them up for next week, even have a few tomorrow, you could tag along if you want, I'll show you the ropes.

Why the hell would I wish I had your job when I already own businesses and assets with an annual turnover of 90+ millions for the 13th consecutive year? Why!!! And why should someone pay a kazeem mechanic like you 20k to inspect a car? Germaine, Ikate Elegushi Lekki charges around 30k, Elizade Ikeja about the same etc and these are licensed Toyota distributors with state of the art workshops and trained specialist mechanics. 10k is the best fare charge the best of the best kazeems should get for inspection, and you're not even in the league of the best kazeems out there. Just an average Joe with a cunning mouth. As for me, my mouth has no filter. I say it as it is, and as it is, you're just a mechanic version of Inspired autos and we all know how it went with that one. I've been following Nairaland since early 2006, and I've seen lots and lots of your type on here but at the end, they get blown out into the open for their crookedness. Where's that Scot that was played for a dummie, let him come and speak. But anyway, it wouldn't matter, because at this point, he might have been called, bullied and intimidated not to speak his mind by those who have turned themselves here to a clique of popular opinion. You guys can continue to play yourselves for fools. I have better things to do than waste my time on jokers. This matter doesn't concern me anymore.

I am just surprised at how we worship those who milk us dry in this country. I sincerely don’t know what GAZZUZZ or gazzuz is trying to justify/prove. You messed up big time. The attitude is kinda selfish and uncalled for.

When you come here to sell your oil, you see people on the forum as your family just so they can patronise you. Now that you have succeeded in making a struggling man poorer because he mistakenly believed in you because of people praising you up and down on this forum. What’s the point of taking a mechanic to check a car that can’t advise you not to buy the car or if you must buy, the price shouldn’t exceed a certain amount.

Seriously, you need to own up and address this issue. Truth should be told.

Who is Scot?

What's his/her Nairaland Moniker?

Let Scot come out to talk him own side of the story.

Dragging matters, trying to prove point, defending our stands and using the current situation to attack, attempting to drag other people reputation in the mud isn't good for anybody.

Because we have unsettled beef in the past shouldn't make us all loss focus on the main objective of the thread.

We all can not always agree but we all need to be mindful and respectful of other people decision.

Reputation is Money, Reputation is Business, Reputation is Perception, Reputation online is everything.

Make Scot come talk wetin really happened?

Please let us stop all the sentiments.

The purpose of a pre purchase inspection is to tell a potential buyer about any issue a car may have. Pricing of the car is entirely up to the buyer to iron out with the seller. The inspector may give a rough idea of costs to fix the issues discovered, so the buyer can factor it into the amount he is willing to pay.

About costs of a PPI, that is entirely up to the inspector. You decide if that pricing suits you or not. But it is entirely the prerogative of a service provider to fix his prices, no crime in that.

Lastly, no right thinking mech will receive bribe from a seller under any guise.

I think all the mudslinging has to stop. It is becoming childish, and you really are derailing a good thread.

excellent. Car was bought around feb/march for those of you who were here that time every one knows the price of every small uber looking Nigerian used car went up due to demand, it was easy to sell any uber looking car in 3days to the highest bidder.

Now when you have all the required info, and seller is not interested in reducing the price of vehicle and you are told the cost of putting car back in shape is about 200-300k and as a driver you were making over a 100k per week then, how many weeks will you calculate it would take you to gather enough funds to fix it?

Every one is shouting 780 on a rio. Ehailing made cars really expensive early 2018 not now that you will get a rio for 500k. I remember selling my 2 honda city's at 1.1m and 1m respectively I also sold my rio in Dec 2017 for 1m on the dot, they were Nigerian used and problem free, but try it now and see what happens.

Prices of cars now and feb/march cannot be compared. cars are much cheaper now because that flare to rush into investing in Ehailing has died.

Finally there is a reason I do not dabble into price negotiations, and this is one of them. I focus strictly on the condition of the vehicle and not the price so that in future I am not told I over priced for a car, or I didn't price high enough and they lost the car.

My job was very straight forward. And I handled it professionally.

I'm not in a position to judge anything but it seem a handful of people have a beef against Gazzuzz for certain reasons. Did Gazzuzz offend someone or took someones customer?.

Maybe it's because Gazzuz does pre-purchase and is unravelling a lot of lies from sellers here.

At the end of the day, he is not an angel but his integrity in my opinion far outweigh his errors.

You guys are men.
may God bless u for me. I've not met Gazzuzz in person but I've called him over time regarding my cars issue and he did give me candid advice that worked for me. I think some people here have personal beef with Gazzuzz. However, I do not support the direct insult Gazzuzz made on this forum and we should guide our words. We are matured men here and most of us are family men. Please let's settle this case and move on.
