Will u be surprised if I told u I hated Eko bridge/Apongbon/Surulere Route? I avoid it like a plague. Even till now, if I must go to Surulere, Rider will agree we pass Yaba railway or Jibowu, if not, find another driver.
I can count the number of times I have driven through Ijora. I just have an aversion for those places.
When I heard of the bad experiences people had in that route, my best bet is to avoid it. Whether genuine or not, ones I hear say something has happened at an X place I mark that place. Nothing will make me carry boys to the right hand side of Jakande, Lekki in the night. There are many places I have marked X in this my many years in ehailing. My point is yes na God dey protect but we need to do our part too. 90% of the times when u hear people's experience, they will tell u they lose guard.
