Of all the places above, I would only do Festac and maybe Sangotedo. After Sangotedo (Ibeju & co), it has to be offline o. Offline for the others in your post too.

I did Iyana Era Ojo yesterday (before Agbara) and I regretted taking d trip. She told me okokomaiko and I don't know where that was. Asked her and she said after mile 2, I decided to go for it since request was scarce. We started d journey past 1pm from V.I and got to d destination few minutes to 5pm. I got to d Island past 9pm. Taxify price 4k plus. Vow never to go that area again. When u request me and I don't know d place, I go use my map to know d area first. If u can't be patient, then make another request with someone else

Some after asking the usual where are you, you'll be like I am at balogun street the next thing you will hear is "ahh I don't know the place just follow your map"..
While the street is the next Street to theirs, I keep wondering the essence of asking me where I am if you can't direct me after all.
It's worst with all these ones slaying on empty brains.

That's how they do, they want to do big man but don't want to spend money.
If possible some people will even ask you to come to their room to carry them.
I have noticed the difference between oyibo riders and typical naija riders.
Oyibo request next he calls to give you further directions and will also tell you his destination.
Sometimes they may even come out of their gate to enter your car and engage you in discussion unless they are two.
He will always help with directions during the trip if they know the place.
I mistakenly passed the supermarket a white was going to he told me not to bother that he will walk back to the store but if it's our people the next thing is they will shout at you first telling you you have passed where they are going to and insist you must reverse.
Riders that have been out of our shores and most especially the foreigners are the best. Always ready and know how to use their app to know your location and eta

This one happened to me too, the girl brought her bags out I waited and also watched over the bags only for the girl to tell me her man has apologized and that they have settled.
I told her to settle me then that I can't waste my time just like that because she have waisted my time besides I drove from far to get to her pickup point.
She left and I told her I will block their gate and nobody will go out in the morning.
It's either they settle me, beat me or call police for me.
I eventually left and was on my way when the bf called and said I should send my account details i did and he transferred 2k.
I quickly sent him a message to apologize for the embarrassment.

You can neva compare a foreigner to an average naija rider. I've missed not driving much this month, sometimes I just miss the madness and the unforeseen events.

Few of dem: I'll neva forget d humble beginning, when I used to b naive. I picked a man from lekki phase one, going to airport, the way d man shouted at his maid before entering the car made me breath deep (I don enter dis one). Next I hear, see I am late already, you have to b very fast, he was totally controlling d steering from d back sit, I was just doing 130 on 3rd mainland and yet dis man kept shouting you are not fast enough till we miss the bridge linking to Anthony... He kept putting pressure on me while I was busy trying to navigate my way to ojota so I can turn back to Maryland, before I knw was up, I turned to ikorodu ramp... Here we are facing ketu grin cheesy oga kill me if you won kill me

Another was the day I picked a girl from osapa going to LI shop at lekki phase 1 (obviously her sales girl). She requested for 2k, I gave her when we get to her point of alight, she told me; I need to use the ATM, I let her. She came back with an excuse the ATM is not working, she's late and can't wait, maybe I should take the ATM and withdraw, then return it when am done. Laugh almost tear my stomach, see me and camera wahala... Since I knw her office I let her go, it took me 3 weeks with insults to get my money back.

Still fresh the day four girls mess with my head, taking them from one eatery to another on admairity way, they careless with dia stupid talk as if I am not a human. Time to end and pay for trip #1500, dis girls brought out 500 and plead they don't have cash on dem with promise to transfer 1k, I'm still waiting..

Once picked a guy that wants to buy food, this dude turn and turn me around the whole place, eventually got food he like, if you see the way he was tearing the turkey inside d car, long throat nearly finish me. Time to pay 2500. Next I hear, boss! I no hold reach like dat here nah 1k I get here, just drop you account I'll send it later... I took the 1k in good faith, 4 days later he transfer 3k5 to my acct.

Still fresh, the day I picked a girl from ejibo to magodo on taxify, dis girl heap insult on taxify based on the first driver she had pick up issue with. On getting to magodo, app issue and the trip displayed 1k, her response was so inhuman "Wo, luck me ni". I was just looking like mumu, crack d engine and head home straight.

God help me, the experience so far is worth the learning, hope it won't get beyond that, like the day I asked an army man to get down from my car because he was insisting on a particular route around 10pm

You better go to oyinbo country.

What I find irritating is when a driver calls and ask where I am going to? I mean that question should be for the app not me. You take the job, simply focus on doing it.

If you don’t want the trip then don’t put up your app

What I find "irritating" is when people are suffering from chronic ignorance & yet trying to make a point.

I met this beautiful lady I carried on my uber. She looked so sweet and innocent, I was dazed by her beauty that she even sent me under the rain to make withdrawal of 5k of which she asked someone to transfer to my account. I never for once ever doubted in my heart that she could have a heart filled with evil. I drove her to her destination at cilantro Indian restaurant, such a beautiful restaurant with people waiting outside to welcome their guest. I ended the trip and then she told me with her sweet voice that she would do me a transfer to my account. Of course u can guess the outcome. Anybody don fall mugu like me.

For the past 9months, I have always asked this question

Twice I have picked up Dayo (Uber Operations), I asked him same question and he answered.

Which would you prefer?
You refuse to disclose your destination,
I drive to pick-up location,
You hop in,
I ask for your destination before starting the trip,
You tell me,
I don't like the area (e.g Satellite town, Apapa, Ikorodu, Lakowe, Akute, Ajamgbadi, Mowe e.t.c)
I politely ask you to request another ride.
I cash out #400.
Really all these local places can be annoying to go
