We are all politicians, one way or the other.

That's why I don't understand why 'politician' is a profession assigned to some on the list. What were they before becoming politicians?

The study of Law is almost an essential requirement for anyone aspiring to rise to the top both in public and in private sector. It is , in my view, necessary for potential and active politicians. Most presidents in advanced countries have studied law , Mrs. thatcher who was a Chemistry graduate found it useful to have a law degree as she went into politics.. Obama , Mechel, And even Mugabe are lawyers. I think Buharis Ministerial list doesn't have enough persons with a university in law. Find below the list of past US presidents with their professions and see what percentage were qualified as lawyers. Law is a basic degree for all actually.
