All private schools in Ekiti state today are on compulsory holiday to agigate against the state government's new policy whereby all private schools have to pay #1000 per student in a term, that is a school with 200 pupils will pay #200000 in a term despite the normal taxes been paid to the state government and local government. All private school proprietors are to meet with Mr Governor today at Ado-Ekiti to state there mind on the newly introduce policy.

why are they on strike. Its simple logic just add 1k to school fees of children
