We all rejoiced when it was reported to the public that Alhaji LAI MUHAMMED, from Kwara State, had scaled through as a qualified FEDERAL MINISTER in an APC controlled government. But few days thereafter all of a sudden, from nowhere, we read again that some unidentified miscreants, Like yinka ayeni (AWARD MUGU) claiming to have originated from Kwara South of the state-who seemed to be sponsored, with a corneous group name, were rallying around that they did not want Alhaji LAI MOHAMMED, whom great majority of Kwarans and beyond have supported. They claimed (in their own-selfish mission) that a tested and a disciplined personality as Alhaji LAI MOHAMMED, who had worked tirelessly to the knowledge of the public, even at many trying periods, for the victory of his APC political party (this type the sponsored party miscreants said) did not qualified to serve at federal level. People begin to ask: "If LAI MOHAMMED does not qualify to be a federal minister from our state (kWARA), who else is more qualified"?
The President of Orisun lgbomina, a social Political Organisation, Chief Dbenga Awoyale gave the advice in a statement he signed in llorin on Monday. Igbomina Indigenes from Kwara at home and in the diaspora have been urged to rally round the state's ministerial nominee and national spokesman of the rulling All Progrssives Congress (APC), Alhaji Lai Mohammed, to advance the course of rapid development of the state
It said that the Youth protesters were not representatives of the people of the seven local government areas that constitute the Kwara South senatorial district.
The statement alledged that the sponsors of the "mindless political hirelings" were well known to all right-thinking people of the State, Alhaji LAI MOHAMMED (from Kwara South, a national figure of APC political party, a competent and an intelligent personality) NEEDS OUR SUPPORT this time around all from KWARA STATE and beyond, to scale through this sponsored smear campaigns and unnecessary rallies embarked upon by our collective enemies against an innocent Alhaji LAI MOHAMMED.
The above forum unanimously hold its annual meeting today Monday at kwara central taiwo isale, we appreciate the national party of APC leadership for deeming it fit to pick our amicable son as the minister federal republic Nigeria. We gives our support to a well qualified ministerial-ship appointment of Alhaji LAI MUHAMMED, who hailed from ORO in IREPODUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA of KWARA STATE.
The groups that protested against the nomination of lai mohammed are miscreants people in kwara state, who are looking for means of surviving. their major occupation are attentions seekers,very soon will petitions EFCC to investigate them how they used exotics cars,because their jobless set of people in the society.
