Ladies like to be with people that they feel secure with. They are more confident going into a relationship with someone who they feel is more mature, intelligent, exposed, experienced and capable of making better decisions than themselves. Most times they believe that any guy who is younger than them doesn't meet this criteria.

Even as humans we have this default idea that we are smarter/wiser than those that are younger than us. This is the way it is with women.

But I am not of the opinion that all women should date older men and all men should date younger women.
If two people love and respect each other, despite the age, I believe they should be together.
