Nothing special!!!

In a sane society, losers must step down. It is only bitter losers that stir up the polity. While I am happy that GEJ did not stir up the polity, as he could if he wanted to, it is still the NORMAL thing to do. So there is nothing special about it. His advise is in place but he shouldn't create it against the backdrop that leaders can lose elections and refute defeat..

Omonnakoda! How Market? You are one of those who believe that stirring up the polity through tribalism and invectives is a good way to hide your face from the nothingness in which you exist and the nobody that you are. Take a cue from your leader and statesman who has SEEN IT ALL!!! CHANGE!!!!

Sir, you know that in the current state of corruption in Nigeria, accepting defeat and taking sane decisions as a leader is an act of heroism, especially when we know quite well that majority of top Nigerian political stakeholders, including the opposition party who won are willing to brew trouble in they are on the loosing side. Don't misquote me, I question the amount of results coming from the North where education and proper orientation is minimal, yet millions voted relative to results from the education hungry southern population. I have been to Kano once , and spent a week in the very central city of Kano. literacy is 5% maximum by my observation and that figure is dominated by non-northerners. GEJ had enough to brew trouble, but he values human lives than his ambition.

He is a hero. A hero is a Man that does the right thing when everyone else refuse to or share in sanity of his actions. We all know his followers aren't pleased with him accepting defeat, but he adhered to the path of humanity.

You know what makes me marvel?? The man is no longer the President, not vying for any elective position but he is still so admired by his followers. There is something we are missing because even Obasanjo has no such following. His Humility is epic, his reasoning sound, you can hardly recognise these qualities in African politicians. Bash him all you want, he is a man to watch if you will aspire to lead.
