AM TRYING TO CONNECT MY SITE VIA FTP (FILEZILA) ITS SHOWING ME MESSAGE AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT "Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". Error: Could not connect to server Status: Waiting to retry... Status: Resolving address of "MY DOMAIN" Status: Connecting to 31.170.167.140:21... Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". Error: Could not connect to server PLEASE KOMBO......... HOSTKOBO SIR. ZINOFEGO ETC. PLEASE HELP ME OUT ON THIS. LegendsCoded: I believe the above can only be caused due to the following reasons: 1. Wrong FTP credentials (Solution: Cross-check the FTP login credentials and try again). 2. No server connectivity (Solution: Confirm that your internet connection is okay and your proxy is configured directly. This can also be a problem but I don't think it applies here BuT it wouldn't hurt to confirm). 3. Web host server down (Solution: Your web host server might be temporarily down or unavailable or might be having issues. This mostly happens on free web hosts or cheap web hosting BuT can also happen to any server. So try again later or get in touch with customer care.) 4. Abeg make other people add their own as my own don finish for now PS: I just saw the error notice "Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". Error: Could not connect to server" which means its a server issue. So either try again later or contact support. 1 Like |
