To avoid getting scammed, apply directly via the company's website. Do not apply via a job board.
Using the company's website gives you more information about the company you are applying to.

I totally agree with you but they can be a source of information e.g when you see a vacancy ad from oando/unilever/ibm on a site like jobberman, it informs you that they are hiring and you will definitely get more info on the company website where you can apply directly.

Most companies always like contracting it to other job recruiting firms to avoid traffic and possible cyber attacks on the their site.But others false recruiting firms use this opportunity to unleash dia bad conducts

Whether job board or company website... First thing is, Google the name of the company. The feedback you get will confirm if its a scam or not. This is because, so company dont advertise job n their website.

I think the best way...is to run a search on the company of ur choice and update your information on their career data base and update it and as well check your mail...companies when recruiting for a position consider unsolicited CVS even before making it public. my take

I think its from these job websites that these fake recruitment agencies get our contacts. I have received all sorts of invitations from scam agencies eg RDRL, ONLD... i m expecting from HIV or PMB soon.

Apply anywhere and support it with prayers. What is yours will never pass by, even if does it definitely coming around.
